images posted on a company's web site are public domain and may be distributed as long as they're not causing profit for an entity other than the company, and as long as credit isn't being taken by someone else for their creation/content

at least that's MY take on it. and if i were you i'd put them back up and let the lawyers whine. if we hear from jannard personally that's different, but my guess is he'd say "keep up the good work"

P.S: Sorry to bring that up, but I was not around here at that time, and I read every post and maybe others would like to know too how this issue got resolved.

Given the new models and not wanting to post pictures too soon, we dont want to get you and this site in trouble.

What matters is we're still here and going strong.

I removed a lot of threads that contained the images so reading through it may be incomplete. Basically, I put the images back online, but only people who are logged in and have more than 5 reviews can view them. You can also see them if you go right to the page for the colorway. I've gotten more than enough support from Oakley to know that there really should be an issue as long as I don't spoil upcoming releases, so it seemed to just be a clueless lawyer thing.
