Next month's podcast sees Dann answering any of your questions about the review. So, if you have a burning desire to ask him something, post it below and we will do our best to get it included.

Please try and keep this thread clear of conversations - just nice, sensible questions please.

I'll close the thread sometime on Saturday, so get your questions in quickly!

Cheers guys.

I am just wondering what kind of intrest Oakley has about O-Review and if he has had any comments from the company?

maybe you can give a complete review of the vintage zero line, like the subzero's, zero's and the variations in between (like, NWT,.3, .3P???) Im still lost on all the different combos that exists.

What are his future plans for his collection (short and long term) and for the Review?

Ken, in answer to your post, Lee will be covering the Zero line in the'Retro Region' feature of the podcast this month. So listen out for it - it's a great piece, very informative.

Thanks for the questions so far guys, keep them coming.

Yeah, I think it would be great for Dann to discuss any levels of direct communication between the review and Oakley in the past, both good and bad.

What does he hope for the future of o-review?

Any stories of infamy coming as a result of the o-review creator?

Along the same lines as before, Id like to know the connection between Dann, o-review, and oakley, what they think at HQ, and so on. I'd also like to know if he's had any offers from Oakley to sell his site, threats, or any other offers from sites for advertising purposes and such.

okay, maybe i'll start the ball rolling with a few questions and hopefully some more interesting ones will be added. i dunno how the interview is going to be conducted, but i do like unstructured conversational interviews, and use questions as a guide instead of like a Q & A session... just a thought.

What was your first pair of Oakleys?

What was the inspiration to start The Oakley Review?

What went through your mind when you saw the very first review posted?
side question: what was actually the first review posted? LOL... just wondering.

How long after The Oakley Review went online did the forum section appear?

Did you expect The Oakley Review grow so fast and big like it did?

What are your most memorable moments on The Oakley Review?

What does the Wife/Friends/Family think about your Oakley obsession?

umm... that's all i can think of at the moment.

Is there still any chance of getting a signature O-review model sunglass, and Dann trimming his beard?

Thanks,

K

That's more than the rest combned.

What does the Wife/Friends/Family think about your Oakley obsession?
That's a very good one.

Did you at first hide the fact from your wife that so many of the glasses in the once shared collection at your parents house were yours? And what did she say the day she would have found out they were mostly all yours?

In the early days of the Oakley Review the site suffered the wrath of Oakley legal in regard to ROMEO 2 images being posted before thier official release could you elabortae for members the reasons behind keeping everthing above board, and the outcomes of those events.

-What made you decide to keep the site free to all members? If it wasn't for our"Hostmaster" Jason, would the site have continued to be free?

-If you were to translate the amount of time you spent putting the site together (all the database, pictures, history and etc...) Wouldn't that be considered a side job without pay?

-Do you get newer members being appreciative about all the ground work you have done? Is so, in what way?
