Well i guess not as bad as in us in Small Island Sinapore!!

Take the Ducati Juliet for example...from my understanding the following is the Recommended retailed price for the item in the country of the currency... i will use USD as the basis of comparision since Oakley originated from the US

Coversion courtesy of Yahoo finance

US - $330 USD

Australia - $464.95 AUD / 344USD (Slight difference which i attribute to having to ship the item to Australia which is still fairly reasonable)

Singapore - $810 SGD / 500 USD!!

Can you imagine that?? its just crazy pricing to me to buy Oakleys from Singapore!! But that is just me....i understand there is shipping of the item involved but how many hands did it change for it to be inflated to in excess of 500USD??

Anyways Rant over....

oh this is pretty hard, we only have to pay $475/390Euro for them...

I see...DAMN

We should make a top list of the most expensive countries.

Sorry for the bumpage of this topic..
but i phoned up oakley uk..01462-475475 and asked them for the latest price guide they had..which i got 2 days later.!!
now with oakley having an head office in your country, then i am sure if you ask an OPD nicely, for your countries head office phone number, i bet they give it to ya..
as i aint got much time to write the whole price list out for the uk prices, i am sure we can sort this out 1 way or another..
just ask nicely at you local opd and they might even have a spare copy for ya, if not then ask for the head office in your country..
i know you want it up on the website, but hey..its a start..and ya never know..you might have the time to write the price list out yourself.!!
We should have a OAKLEY website for each country to save all this hassle.!!

Actually an M-frame clear lens is $40 US, just for the record.

Johnny, if you can scan the pages and post as a .pdf or something I'm sure somebody here can turn that into text for the DB.

If I can get some data, I'll do it. Just add it as another field and have it show up if present.

Will go and ask my OPD for a pricelist.
Might be difficult to get hold of prices for discontinued models though.
Dann, how did you find the list prices for models released before you started following Oakley?

I got a few older price lists, plus most models when I started cataloguing had been out a few years. The rest I don't know.

I e-mailed Oakley Europe for mrsp lists for this and previous years. Hope they might help but also send a PM to AmericanImage, if he, being an OPD, could provide us with a list.

Am wondering how to account for different VAT rates?
Dann, are the American prizes in the database with or without taxes?

without. Everything is the base retail price, since taxes vary from state to state anyway.

Not exact UK Price, but I recognized a price increase for Gascan Frames. first times they were offered they cost 75€ ($101 ONLY the frame). I checked today again and they cost 85€ ($115 ONLY for the frame) Did I missed something or are they made out of gold now?
