Yeah I find it more convenient to navigate the site over my own harddrive.

Really really glad to see everything is back to normal without any alterations to the membership status... and to top it off, it looked like a very busy day today as I see a very healty exchange of words in the threads and half of the guys participating are not the familiar faces. Keep it that way! Welcome fellow O freaks...we need more of you!

Og, Good God, that's Beautiful. It's like a religious experience seeing all of those pictures again. I thought I'd never see the this before I died...

I would make some suggestions but then my opinion kind of waned. Also, my digital camera setup makes it difficult for me to get my collection photographed. I wish I could though, so I could share it with others.

I'm a little regretful that I haven't had the time to be on the Oakley Review as much; and if that means in some eventuality that I'll have to be booted off or something, I guess that's what happens in life sometimes.

I guess I'll leave it to the main Main guys. I should post more but it does take a lot of time since I like to make my reviews very thorough.

Hey Jonathan, Take your time..one review per day or per week. No pressure here. Nobody will kick you out. Everybody's opinion counts here. I am sure you have a lot of Oakley knowledge to share.

Jonathan, don't worry... we won't boot you off for not having all the time in the world to post & review. You've been on the site for a long time, and you've been posting a lot lately, so we know you're still active.

You won't get booted off, you were the first person here to review something other than my local friends, so don't worry. The only members I remove from the listing are those with zero reviews/collection/posts, and like 2 logins, all being on the same day they signed in.

Yeah most have their initial sign up date being the same as their last login date. And that's 2+ months later when I finally do something about it.

but weve recently got some new active members so the site is still growing even if we have to kick off some wasters every couple of months

Oh definitely. The active userbase has stayed the same, and we've gotten some new people in, so it's surely growing.

It'd be nice if we can get the Japanese O freaks to participate in this Blog...hmmm, how can we invite/lure them? I have seen links of this site on theirs but I wonder how many of them had visited and just couldn't communicate.

One of them links to us. I've seen some new Japanese user accounts come in, but I'm guessing the language barrier could be too steep.

Yeah, I have seen the link but where is our BANNER? maybe they should use your photo with multiple glasses on your head as the banner.

Dann,
Maybe I should start a new thread about making a Banner for this site....if it's okay with you first.

then we can put it at the bottom of the main page so other sites can link to us via a banner

Sure thing. We can have a few user submitted ones that people can choose from. Maybe some standard banner length ones, and then a few smaller ones the size of those old 'Netscape Now' buttons.

Just give me a standard size and I will work up one or two over the weekend. If not I will build them to the size of the They Might Be Giants banners I did.

Whatever you think is good for the larger banners. Then maybe a smaller 90x30 button too.

A few banners I did the other night. Started off simple than got a little more into it. They are more Oakley-like than resembling the look of the site though.

Those are Great Phil. Really well Done.
Dann : Hope you could use some of those designs on the site some how.
The Font that Phil used would be great for the site also, mainly on the Tabs on the left. Just some thoughts

I need to do something about the menu. It keep growing and all those images loading on every page can't be good.

I've added a banner and help page. I'll make images later.
