Didn’t the Dutch dude with the eye problems wear water/racing jackets whilst playing. I think he has switched to another brand now but I was sure I saw him wearing them at one point a few years ago.

I think soccer players do everything that they can to minimize what they have on their bodies while they play.

Edit...saying that it looks like he wears monsterdogs or something like them.i could be and more than likely got the wrong name of frames, but i think he is now wearing N**e now.!!

Davids has been wearing Nike for a long while now. He got in trouble with nike's marketing department when they did a huge billboard with his picture on it, and realized that the photographer took the pic with him wearing RJ's. Since then, he's worn the Tarj Pro.

Cisse just transfered teams in July. He'll be on load to Olympic Marseille when he comes back this season.

indeed Cissy ( i know it's wrong spelled , but this is more fun ) has his signature series, but i asked at oak.europe, and they mainly did it because of his "after-soccer" activities , such as clubbing/DJ-ing.

Davids USED to wear oakley's , but after his alleged use of doping, oakley decided to throw him out because they don't want athletes to use these substances. so he's sporting nike now.

makes me wonder about Floyd L. now...........

yeah, the "Oregon company" is Davids' sponsor for footwear and clothing (as well as the Dutch national team). like I said, they started caring about the eyewear only when it appeared in one of their ads. He'd been wearing the RJ for a while by then.

And generated a lot of attention for Oakley doing so. Guess that's why Nike forced Edgar to wear theirs
