Stick with the silver, I like the more "stealth" look of it, plus it's very cool that it's more "custom" so to speak. I would also be apprehensive about getting it worked on again, I prefer to have things tinkered with as little as possible. just my 2 cents....

my guess is that they just replaced the whole watch Mike had, and reattached his Titanium band on the new all-silver watch body. i doubt they opened the watch and replaced the movement and face... of couse i've been wrong before!

Tough one Mike, I like both version, but the black on silver has more contrast, it stand out a bit more.

I prefer the black better. Higher contrast with the black so it stands out more.

Just wanted to share some further info on my TT.

after deciding to keep the all silver face, I just used the watch as normal. It wasn't till about 4 weeks later that i noticed there was some kind of Discoloration or smudging of the Icon below the date marker. Check the photo to see what I'm refering to.
So I call up Oakley South Pacific and tell them the details after sending over some photos, they feel it's some fingerprints left over from the first repair. Send it back and we'll fix it, which i did about a week ago. I also didn't really push the changing of the face again as i was now happy with it as it was.
Anyways the watch arrived back today, I had a good look at it and it's all fixed. Then i looked even closer and realized that it was a whole new watch...
1. There was a very soft scratch on the left side...no longer there
2. The was now a new sticker on the back, which i had removed when i got it, they didn't put one on during the last repair.
The band is the same though, so they may have just swappedit out with a leather version. Anyways I'm just happy to have it back AGAIN!

That's a really nice picture. And I also prefer your new, custom version. Man, you should share more of these Makro pics with us.

they'll really hook you up. my friend found an M-Frame with a broken ear stem, he sent them in, just payed for shipping, and he got a whole new frame back. With Oakley, all you really need to worry about, is losing your frames.
