Select individuals were offered the chance to purchase these pairs.
The following decent into madness will highlight the M-Athlete each specific release was created for, along with a short bio and release and recipient photos.
Round 1
Our first athlete to kick off this awesome event is our youngest M-Team Athlete, Connor Zilisch!
Connor is an 18 year old professional race car driver and is a rising star in the sport having just won Pocono a week ago. He has positioned himself as one of the future faces of the sport and is currently ranked #5 on the Xfinity Series leaderboards. We believe in Connor and its only fitting that he was born in the same city as the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Charlotte North Carolina.
Round 2
Our second M-Athlete is none other than the legend and great friend of M-Experiment, John John Florence!
The three-time World Champion was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, making a name for himself at the infamous Banzai Pipeline first surfing out at the young age of eight. Winning back to back World Surf League championships in 2016 & 2017 along with the championship last year, John John has cemented himself as a generational star on the waves and has forever inspired the next generation of surfers. An explorer and creator at heart, John John embarks on open-ocean voyages to remote surf breaks and documents his travels with self produced films giving incredible insight that you won't find in mainstream documentaries. An advocate for reducing plastic and man made waste into our oceans, John John is a true icon and role model.
Round 3
The third athlete we highlight our fearless and bold M-Athlete Pedro Acosta!
Pedro may be the most confident M-Athlete on the roster, and in his line of work you need to be! Taking down giants is never easy, but Pedro knows the veterans before him have had their time. Now it's his time! Acosta is a 21 year old MOTOGP racer from Spain who looks to create a legacy for himself on the Grand Prix. The first racer ever to place podium in his first four events and second youngest champion (by literally a day) to win the Moto3 World Championship. As if setting the precedence and breaking records wasn't enough for Pedro, he even works on his own bikes before races with his crew, giving him a rare competitive edge over his competition.
Round 4
In round four, we have the pleasure of introducing our sensational M-Athlete, Dashawn Jordan!
The copy almost writes itself for Dashawn. 28 year old skating phenom who constantly reminds all watching that there's no limit to greatness. X-Games medals. Team USA Skater. Hip-Hop recording artist. Skate shop owner. M-Athlete! From humble beginnings in the scorching heat of Chandler Arizona, Dashawn found himself developing a talent for the sport before his teenage years and never looked back. His style is effortless and energy is contagious. Dashawn gives back to the community with nonprofits like Boards for Bros and Skate After School and throws events like Home is Where the Heart Is to bring together young skaters and inspire the next generation to dream big.
Round 5
Round five we put the spotlight on our inspiring M-Athlete, João Chianca!
João is a World Surf League champion hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil bringing passion and pedigree to the sport and M-Team. With deeply rooted family ties in the surf world, João has riding waves in his blood! After a second place finish larter in the year in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Chianca was set back after injuring his head and falling beneath the waves in Hawaii. This is not where his story ends. João has his eyes set on winning as his resilience and determination to bounce back and qualify in 2025 this year shows he is not going anywhere and will stop at nothing to be world champion.
Round 6
Round six we highlight the young phenom and rising M-Athlete Zeb Powell!
If you aren't familiar with Zeb, it's time we introduce the exciting young star straight to you. From humble beginnings in North Carolina, to the big stage with M-Experiment, Red Bull and X-Games, Zeb has re-sparked interest for snowboarding amongst a whole new generation. When Zeb hits the mountain you see amazing flips and tricks, with crowds buzzing and music blasting. It feels like a party follows Zeb everywhere he goes. Even though he would rather focus on his passion for the sport itself, we can't over look the barriers he is breaking down in the world of snowboarding. As a rookie he became the first black snowboarder ever to win Winter X-Games placing Gold in the Knuckle Huck event. It feels like we are witnessing a legend in the making following Zebs career and world, or as he would call it "Planet Zeb".
Round 7
The M-Athlete for round 7 is our very own Jordy Smith!
Jordy Smith began his journey surfing in Cape Town, South Africa where he learned to blend a powerful style with innovation and creativity. Jordy has multiple championship tour wins under his belt with the WSL including wins at J-Bay, his hometown break in South Africa. Having finished in the top three in the world and representing his country in the Olympics 2020, Jordy has checked off almost every box there is in his career. In true spirit as an M-Athlete, Jordy pursues other passions including designing and shaping surfboards. He has been known to experiment with his craft, resulting in unique works of art and styles. And if all of that wasn't enough, Jordy pushes to make a better world, being involved in many environmental causes from ocean clean up, to awareness for marine ecosystems and life on our blue planet.
Round 8
In round eight we'd like to introduce our talented M-Athlete Pipo Derani!
Pipo is a performance and racecar driver who hails from São Paulo Brazil. Pipo began his career driving Formula Renault eventually moving to Forumla Three and has earned multiple championships including his two-time IMSA WeatherTech SportsCars wins. Understand that on certain courses Pipo has exceeded over 200 mph making him a blur or after image to those trying to keep up with the naked eye. Pipo comes from a lineage of racers and winners as both his father and brother were Brazillian represented drivers. Currently, he has his sights set on leading Gensis Magma Racings into the World Endurance Championship series in 2026 making this his biggest endeavor yet.
Round 9
In round 9 we are proud to announce Jackson Goldstone as our M-Athlete!!
Jacksons adventure seeking journey started in Sqaumish, BC Canada where he honed his skills on a bike at a young age and currently has catapulted himself as the face of Mountain Biking. Jacksons story is one of perseverance and triumph when in 2024 at Hardline he went down with a serious injury, crashing and fully tearing both his ACL and MCL, The price to pay on the way to history can be steep, but we had no doubt in our minds that Jackson would recover, rebuild and reload. Here in 2025 he has done just that. Coming back from injury he has tied a world record with four consecutive UCI wins and is standing atop the World Cup rankings looking to cement the historic comeback in mid October at the UCI FInale.
Round 10
In the tenth and final round, the M-Athlete bringing the momentum is Jesse Love Jr!
The future of NASCAR is in good hands with 20 year old Jesse Love Jr. The bay area native has speed in his blood coming from a lineage of racers with his dad and grandfather. Jesse is the youngest ever in history to win a NASCAR sanctioned event at only 15, and has earned himself a top five ranking in the current Xfinity Series. But Love isn't looking to settle for top five as he is inching his way to the top of the leaderboard coming for everyone's spot including his best friend and fellow M-Athlete.
I just hope the patina looks like it does in the renders. That looks pretty cool.
Let me think. I can buy a good condition Juliet for that price, or that monstrosity...
I wonder why the Oakley prices are so much higher than the price of the Haven pair..
