I'll say it again. If they just did the hood. I'd pick that up for sure. It looks like it's got some structure under the top like a hat or something and the side zips down so you can open it. The goggles don't do it for me but I'm glad they are at least trying new and inventive stuff. Now just do more than 100.

The confusing part for me is how are you switching those lenses? From the looks of the ring they connect to, you won't be able to take one over the other and essentially swap positions. So I'm guessing you need to move the gold pair down, in front of your face? - B3

There's a video online from a few months ago when these leaked that show the guy doing it. I can't find it right now but I think it may be in here somewhere or on IG.

This piece is officially going on sale according to Oakley social media today. 100 limited pieces, no mention of price point or date. Likely soon since they are advertising it now.

Id be good if they just did the hood alone. I cant image what this will cost with 2 Kato lenses involved...

They stopped supporting them almost immediately after release. Last I checked I could still connect to my phone to play music, but that was it.

Never buy electronics from oakley. It's a sad day when i have better functionality from my thumps than my radar pace

So I remember when I first joined this site. I had a pair of Black/Black A Wire 2.0's that My girlfriends young son had found on a countertop and mangled into a small ball of metal.

I was searching the internet to see if they were still for sale when I came across O review (the older version **2011** vintage) Suddenly I had access to information I'd never seen before. During this search I came across the entry for the Wiretap, the original one. Aggressive, pointy, wings on the stems, tiny orbitals. Yup that's right up my alley. I found some on ebay and picked them up.

That pretty much hooked me on Oakley. All those crazy styles id never seen. All the stuff I could never get when I was a kid because I was broke...lol. It was all downhill from there. Now, 13 years later, I'm 1200 pairs in.

Exciting times with this subzero imminent release.

Is there clarification if these will be region specific releases after all? Given one color way has made an appearance for sale overseas already.
- Patient_Cero

I will say if they do another South American exclusive I'll lose my mind.....lol

Box is reminiscent of the old school clear sub zero box.

Hi. How to know if Oakley x metal juliet xmen was real or clone? - Jonpogi

I'm not an expert on X Metal but pictures can really help.

Sometimes, if they are fake, they are so bad it can be seen at a glance. Other times they can be fairly good and need decent pictures to tell.

Serial numbers help, if it has one, to verify if it matches what it should be. Not all Juliet's have serials though depending on the generation.

Also what do you mean by "Juliet Xmen"? Do you meant he early Gen 1 release with Ruby lenses?

Set to release on 4/30/24. The press release doesn't say anything about online release, just Pas Normal Stores and Select Oakley retailers.

That Suede Lave is the shit 8O - JP

I agree. Reminds me of the original Red Suede Flesh from back in the day. If I liked the Sandal more I might pick it up but that one was kind of uncomfortable when I tried it on.

It weirds me out. I've never seen one with the tag stitched on over the seam like that, and crooked.

I could be wrong though, Im not up too much on apparel.

Sick. I'm almost more in awe of that box - Dann

It seems, on occasion, they can still do things right.

I wish they would put this amount of thought into all of their collaborations or special editions like they used to do.

The biggest issue will be the hinge pins. They are pressed into a blind hole, so you cant press them back out. You basically need to destroy the frame to get them out

It would probably be easiest to source a beater frame and part it out. The Parts and service site does not list any of those parts for sale.
