Congrats man, your write up was well deserved. I would do anything for one flores or C100 let alone multiple pairs of each! Great final comments as well. Thats what this place is about for me too

I am not sure how it took me this long to see this spotlight. Somehoe I missed it posted first thing on the homepage, oops. Very great read and truly an amazing collection. I wish I could see all of the details in the triple in person. Very impressive and I am really glad I finally noticed it! Thanks so much for sharing!

I was surprised by the airwave too. It seemed a lot of people were dissapointed with them once they saw them in person. I have seen one but never played around with it.
Glad to see the JFL got some love. It is a really great pair IMO

2012 Was a good year for me. I sold off a lot of things that just didnt do it for me anymore and spent that money refining the collection to pairs I cared more about. I had collected the whole artist series. I burned out on it and lost interested and sold nearly all (all but three each kept for a specific reason) right before the robert williams came out. I was really hesitant to do this becuase of the effort that went into getting some of them but I just was not that into them. In the process of selling them, I met a guy through ebay who was working on the art collection. I ended up selling him about half of the artist pairs and then helping him search down a few more that I had already sold. The highlight of my year oakley wise is the continued friendship I have made with him.

As far as purchases go here are some highlights for me

Romeo 1 Plasma/Fire NIB
5 Pairs of Mars
Gen 1 Plasma/Ice Juliet and Gen 1 Plasma/Fire Juliet
Gary Scelzi Romeo 2.0
Gearbox & Transfer Case

And my two highlights are
Aluminum C Six
and I finally got the minute machine I have been wanting for years.

As far as 2013 goes I do not want a lot right now. My purchases have been few and far between for the past 4 months of so. Some things I hope to pick up this year though are

Hollow point- Black Face
Minute Machine - Copper Face
Titanium Gearbox
A Second single wide to finish my case needs
a matte black pit boss

When I first looked at it I thought he was shaking her hand and I thought what a strange body position for a hand shake. The angles def throw off your eyes at first glance.

Brown Juliets went through that phase for a while too where they were over 1000 dollars. They still are not cheap but not that crazy.

Terror, that is interesting. I have one pair of locks and six radars and my radarlock feel really snug on the sides of my face compared to any of my regular radars. That is strange that you had the opposite.

Good point, I forgot that many of them were. I have the silver pair which is all silver expect for the small part of black that shows where they release.

I own both and have used both a good bit so I can start.

First if you do not change lenses a lot personally I do not think there is a huge benefit to the radarlock. Both fit nearly the same, my radarlock is slightly tighter but it is hardly noticable. I think you would be happy with either pair but if you do not change lenses often spending the extra money for the radar lock is probably not needed. I really think that changing lenses on a regular radar is pretty easy anyway.

If you do want the lock, oakley stores can do customs now so that would address the issue of not liking any of the colors available.

I tried on both pairs over the weekend. I knew that the garage rock would not look right on me before I even tried it on which was correct. As far as the frame goes it is definitely not one of my favorites but the blue woodgrain is a very cool color.

I agree 100% on the BIg Taco. I really liked them in person. They were a bit large on my face but I could have gotten away with them. I liked the bone pair as well but did not buy them. If they would have had the black/ice polarized pair in stock I probably would have bought them but they did not. My first impression of the big taco is that the frame itself is not nearly as bad as its name would suggest.

I never heard of those but now I just googled them. They are so cool! I asked my wife but she did not seem crazy about me "upgrading" my wedding band.

Nice! I really like the way the band attaches to the face but I can not decide what I think about the design of the face. I am really looking forward to trying one on though so I can decide for sure. Thanks for the pics
