Amazing lens! I hate the Grey base lenses due to the lack of contrast, but absolutely love these. I have these in the Foose Gascan's, and was able to wear these all day without any issues. Too bad there's no Polarized Version of these. I also don't know of any other lens that gives off a green hue. Very subtle though. The mirror on these seem more apparent than others, so that's always nice. Great overall lens! Very impressed with these. Almost the opposite of the amazing Warm Grey lens!

What a great lens. But it's so under used. These look great when paired with a gold frame like the inmates and probation. My only complaint is that there is no polarized version

This is one really fine lens!Prior to the dark grey,I was used to black,or closer to black lenses mostly,i.e.emerald iridium etc,and my first encounter with those, was kind of strange. They were brighter than I expected, the green tint was a major change, and difficult to get used to,plus not to forget the lack of iridium.Yet,the dark grey lens is fantastic in every way.The "brightness" is translated to versatility, since while they have 10% light transmission according to oakley, they manage to do really well in overcast days, and the lack of iridium, makes them fit with any kind of outfit, whether you're wearing suit or casual.I should mention that I have this lens in my unknown, and they are one of the finest pieces of oakley eyewear in my collection.Five skulls definitely!

are these totally reflective?

I have it in a few glasses. I wish there was less greenish tinting to it. Dark Grey is a misnomer. I think Olive Smoke would be more appropriate.

Very comfortable lens. Very easy on the eyes when the sun is not that bright. The absence of an Iridium coating makes this a really cool looking lens. It's a perfect alternative for when you don't want Iridium, but still want a well protecting lens

I got this in my Why 8.0s. It goes great with the demure nature of the glasses. What a perfect fit. I especially like (as has been said before) the greenish tint. It's strangely soothing, so I'll take it, and it has an air of mystery (are those...are those green? And grey? At the same time?). This great lens doesn't need the Iridium, it's all good by itself.

got these in my crosshairs. i love that it doesn't mirror. the inside of the lense has a greenish hint, but that actually helps it feel more soothing, i think. i like 'em.
-
The only reason this gets a 2 is because its my first set of these and its a nice change from normal grey. Basically its just a darker version of the grey lens, which makes it more useable as I for one cant wear the normal grey lens if the sun is shinning even a tiny bit. Probably be the new grey (overused boring lens)

I've got this lens in several different frames. I think it makes a great daily wearer. A real work horse. You don't have to spend time thinking "Is the right lens for today?" since is has a versatile nature. It does have a pale dark green appearance to it. Definitely a worthwhile lens to have in the collection.

In my opinion the best grey/black lense.

+ Looks more dark green than dark grey !
+ Enhances contrast very well!
+ (I know that this is subjective, but) very very clear!
+ Has no Iridium coaring but it is very hard to see your eyes because the lenses reflect very good (at least that's what I experienced with my bottlegreen Eye Patch)!
+ No Iridium coating -> less scratch sensitive
+ Cheap

I understand that a lot of members think the 2005/2006 lenses are boring and they may be wright, but the dark grey lense is very, very nice! I'ld love to see this one with a nice Iridium!

I like the Greenish look of this lens. It's not flashy but it's certainly not boring. It's got it's own look. It look awesome in the Crosshair.

very neutral almost all day wearing lens, might be too neutral for extreme light conditions good in all framecolours
-
A good all-purpose lens that goes with a wide range of frame colors. Not quite as dark as Black Iridium, so I don't mind it as much even though it is a neutral tint. Although Oakley is more famous for their mirrored lenses, these non-Iridium tints are great for a less flashy look. Compared to regular Grey, Dark Grey has a slight greenish tint.

Nice neutral frame with a little more gloss and metallic look than plain black.
