It looks like theres a few of us now, so I thought it would be a good idea to start this so we have a place to put all UK related oakley info we obtain.

Example: If you know a great retailer in the UK tell us about it here.

If you have heard about a UK exclusive pair of oakleys tell us about it here.

Will also be a good place to organise a UK meet up if we ever get around to it!

AND I hope it was someone here that won that great retro medicine display cabinet on ebay last week!?!?!?!

good plan lex

saw that medicine cabinet too, i was tempted but didnt want to be greedy after getting that gun case the week before!

regarding retailers, my local OPD 10-80 in Norwich is very good!

although not a member he is aware of the o-review and has sold various rep only/hard to get bit to a few members on here, so well worth a look on his website.

as for the meetup-good if we can make it happen!

Heh Lex, I've used Ten-Eighty myself and had some good experiences with them, other than when I asked them about Acid Frogs, to which they knew nothing......only to see them selling all the range for 68 quid a piece a month or so later, after I had bought four of them from O UK at 80 quid a piece....

sometimes they do get a bit behind with all the new releases but once up top speed are good.

one thing they are not is vintage friendly-they hate me for it, for example they dont stock m-frames anyone as they push the radars, which i understand, but i still know alot of people that still prefer the m-frames.

they also have a good range of apparel and footwear

www.eyewearoutlet.co.uk is my EU supplier of choice. They have some stunningly good deals, last week I bought a handbag for my girlfriend and a backpack for each of her daughters: total cost was £49.

Rxsport in Peterborough do all my prescription work, expensive on their website but if you ring em they'll price match and can hook you up with the impossible if you talk to James the gaffer! last pair they made me were custom clear rx x-squareds for less than the rrp of any regular combo, awesome

i had some whoisthiskid?s in but they've already gone to germany, be good to use this thread for heads ups amongst us brits tho

I haven't posted for ages but thought I would as it's a UK thread. Rubens can be a bit crap to be honest. They often have stuff on the website but not in stock. I've had that happen a few times. Eyewear outlet is good and efficient with some great deals.
I have recently got a couple of protection hoodies from http://www.bargainboards.co.uk/ and they have some good prices.
For board shorts and walk shorts (30% off at the moment) I use http://www.iboardshorts.com/ and it's sister site for bags http://www.ibackpacks.co.uk/
A UK thread is a great idea BTW.

I'm a bit of a lurker on here - but well up for a meet up. I'm based in Beckenham, South London and more than willing to travel.

Always good to keep in touch!

Hahaha ! Nicely put.

No, I mean, can you still accept such factory defects.
Come on guys, car industry has been providing you with some wrongly-placed-wheel cars for years !
This can't go like this any longer ! ^_^

I have read that it goes way back in history.

Most people are right handed and if you are in a battle on a horse, you would stay on the left side of the path to use your right hand to swing a sword at an enemy.

I have also heard another theory. When horse/carriage were the primary means of transport. People would walk on the side of the road and since you used a whip (right handed) to control the horses, you wanted to keep the carriage on the left side of the road so you didn't whip those walking next the road.

If you look at any country that was ruled by England at one time or another, most all of them have the steering wheel on the right (wrong) side of the car.
