Been thinking about this for a while now..... One of the most sought after display items, the ceramic Bob head, has anyone tried to make their own?

Surely it must be fairly simple to make a mold using an existing Bob head? Then use, say plaster of Paris poured in to the mold? Once set, remove, smooth of and bobs your uncle (groan!)

I'd give It a go but don't have a Bob. Though I'd happily have a reproduction if someone could make one?

It has been done, but the amount and price of producing the mold, and the fact that you only can create a few before it falls apart, makes it somewhat cost prohibitive.

I've actually just read a thread about it on another forum and the bitch fest that resulted.

Scrap it, and bin this thread :0)

not an advisable idea. Trust me, you fools don't wanna tangle with Oakley legal in any way shape or form. If they won't approve a link to their site to any 3rd party NON affiliated site, you damn sure won't have anything good coming out of counterfeiting their display items...Good luck though..
