For anyone who doesn't know already Linegear is making complete rubber replacement pieces for XX and X squared.

How is the quality of the rubber compared to OEM? i had a dabble with Walleva rubber. Whilst the fit was ok the rubber tears apart quite easily.

Walleva has proven to be garbage but I heard decent things about line gear. I'd go with secondary sock kits over anything else if I was forced to. Lenses are always OEM or cut from one.

I share your sentiment. After my little experience, i would only use aftermarket socks as a last resort. Linegear seems to be the better ones out there. The quality of unobtanium rubber is and feels so much better when you compare with aftermarket. You just know straight away its going to last for years.

I have everything on my Romeo OEM, except for the gaskets. They come from LineGear. Simply because I wasn;t able to get OEMs. But I am surprised by the quality of them, if you have to go with after market I'd recommend Linegear. But like Dann said, there is nothing the originals...
