Does anyone have any of the Oakley duffel bags? I am having a hard time deciding. I love the look and shoe compartment of the small and large. The medium sized one looks to be the best size (hard to tell since they list it at over 6000 cubic inches) but it looks ugly compared to the other two.

How does the expandable duffel in the catalog (but only on site if you search for it) differ from the large duffel? They seem identical except the expandable is $10 cheaper

What have been your experiences with them? Is the large/expandable too much for a 2-4 day weekend trip? I don't need to lug around that much stuff. The small seems a big too small.

I take my small duffel with me everywhere I go and it works just fine. granted I pack pretty light but still. Unfortunately if you use the shoe compartment you sacrifice a lot of the bags usable space.

I was able to pack for a week in a regular Icon with camercorder, digital camera, walkman clothes, and stuff. So something similar in size should do. The large I guess would be more for bigger gear rather than the need for more.

Elijah, I thought the shoe compartment was seperate from the main bag? Are they a shared compartment?

I really wish they would make medium look like small and large :(

yeah, its separate but it uses space from the main compartment. its fine for like sandals, but regular size shoes will take up a lot of the interior space.

Yeah I have the large and it is a tad too large for me to use as a gym bag. I got the large as opposed to the small because I plan on going to Europe one day and figured it would be perfect for an overseas holiday. I agree that Oakley should make a medium size of it. If you are tossing up between the small and large, I'd get the large. Its like catering for a party. Better to order lots of food and have some left over than to not have enough food for the guests. By this analogy I'm talking about space. ANd fitting your shit into it.
