I was just curious if there is any interest in moving forward with the Coalition. I know there would probably be a lot of work involved, and I would do it myself if I had the knowledge.... but will help in any way I can.

I think there were a lot of great ideas thrown around here, and I hate to see it die. We could address not only fakes but non-payers and a whole host of issues collectively...

Just curious.

Yeah, we should move ahead. Let's get a list of the people who initially want to join, then maybe a few others willing to screen new applicants. That way you can just send me the names, or I can build some sort of form to fill out.

I think, initially we should set up core site members, define some parameters and figure out our role and directives as a Coalition. I will put together some ideas this weekend and get them to you. Also open to any suggestions here or email me at DisturbedEarth@yahoo.com with anything.

Do you think Oakley would let us use some of their trademarks and logos since we'd be doing them a favour. Or am I shooting too high.

Even if we consider it a favor, the lawyers always thing different, and they're hired for one purpose, which doesn't lend itself to much human thought or emotion. I think we can still make it look nice and avoid using trademarks.
