Went to my local OAKLEY dealer last week to see if they would put some prescription lenses in my MARS. Well the dealer contacted OAKLEY and they told him they no longer can put lenses in MARS ??? Since when ?? SO.... if any you all know where I can send my MARS to get some RX lenses please let me know. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!! Also if any of you know where I can pick up a pair of YARDSTICK 1.0 in Black Opal, please let me know !!

I'd actually get your dealer to call Oakley again, but this time talk to a different person. That doesn't sound right.

Sadly, it is true that Oakley refuses to make Rx lenses for Mars frames.
The Mars I own were originally sold by Oakley as ophthalmic frames, so it is especially ironic that Oakley now won't put Rx lenses in them.
I had Fuse make and install my Mars' Rx lenses:

Hi doubledd,

Greetings from London, O-Store optician of over 2 years here.

Sadly yes - Mars is unavailable. The only X-Metal frame we can make lenses for now is Juliet.

Regards,
Chris

If Oakley doesn't want to do it, go through a quality optician to get it done. Makes me wonder if Zeiss can provide it. More expensive but higher quality.

I talked to the optician at my local Oakley Store today about ordering prescription lenses for X-Metal frames.
In the USA, Oakley will make Rx lenses for Romeo, Juliet, XX, and XSquared.
