thanks for the great words, guys. i'll definitely post pics when it comes in.
Darren, yup... $389 for a fookin' Timebomb! overstock.com has been selling the White, Titanium, and Carbon Fiber Timebombs at reduced prices for quite a while now. i got the White one for $389, and before the prices went up this week, the Titanium was selling for $429, and the Carbon Fiber was for $449.

Well gents it was only a matter of time before some entrepreneur acted as the middle man between Overstock.com and the ebay buying community. Its the exact same picture from the overstock.com web site. I like the note in the desription that states it is a "special order".

timebombs are going for crazy prices on ebay lately, granted they are used but ive been seeing them go for under 300 bucks.

It is my understanding that any timebomb with a "hidden clasp" and a serial#
with F in it means it is a forged band. insted of made in standard xmetal fashion they cold forge the band to keep costs down on watches that are slightly blemished in some way. I have never seen a forged band watch in a legitimate store.

So if the watch is selling for less than 1/3 of the retail price, How much profit are they making? or how much profit is Overstock.com getting? Ever wonder how much it cost Oakley to manufactur this watch?

I dunno why they dont sell the metal watch vaults seperately, you can buy them for any oakley sunglasses. why not for an oakley watch which is more expensive.
seems silly to me.

Is that just a cheap plastic clip on box. I suppose at just over $400 its better than a kick in the testicles but a vault would really complete it. How much do they cost to buy seperately. (I take it O dont sell them, just a rough indication as to how much they go for on e-bay)

Don't feel bad Bong, We who bought it awhile back paid a ton and I bought 2. Just imagine the endless compliments you will get especially with the White face. I got so much attention with my White face until I switch to my Cannon Yellow which I really really liked.

heh... thanks Cal!
my White Timebomb finally came in late this afternoon, it's absolutely beautiful... very classy looking, absolutely no blemishes. the only thing is like Jose's Timebomb, it came in the cheap plastic clip box instead of the vault; but at the price i got it for, i can't complain. the serial number is 000664F, it'll be kinda interesting if i got the one made two units after this one. i don't know about Timebomb serial numbers but 000664 seems pretty low... can someone shed some light? i immediately went to get the watchband fitted after i left work today.

here's photos:

i'll type some more once the initial shock settles down. i have a fookin Timebomb! the ultimate Oakley item i've been lusting after for years... *sigh*

Congrats man! Timebomb club...the coolest watch on the planet...I've had mine for years and they are virtually indestructible....(sp?) How cool!

I was so proud when I got mine - it was the King of my collection at the time. People still ask me about it.
