in the spirit of you can never have too much luggage, im just wondering would I ever use this?
I travel with my KS all the time, A. im not sure a plane would let me have anything bigger and B. im not sure id fill up anything bigger and if I did id use one of the many duffels I have.

what about everyone else?

In highschool, I was paranoid about forgetting a book at school that I needed, so I took everything home everyday. I kept searching for bigger and bigger bags, so I'd have loved this. Today though I just keep using my Pack2 that I got off Phil in 2005, and it's holding up fine.

I scooped one up in December when they were being clearanced out at $100; I use mine regularly, good for grocery trips.

If you have a KS, you likely won't need a BK. The extra space in the BK is marginal, so there really isn't that much difference in size (the new upper side pockets on the BK is useful, however). The drawstring closure for the main compartment in the BK isn't as nice as the zipper closure in the KS. Incremental updates like full access the to mid-front compartment makes things more convenient in the BK, but it doesn't justify buying a new bag for functional purposes.

If you have a KS, buy a BK because you like the look and want another Oakley bag in the collection, not because it functions exceptionally better.
