I’m expecting my first Mars within a week or two, and can find little in regards to a definitive guide on the removal of the clips and replacing them afterwards. So any help would be welcomed, any tips or even an aforementioned definitive guide.

Thanks!

Pliers and a rag around the whole thigs as you apply force so if they fly off - they dont go missing.

I usually tried to insert a very small flat-head screwdriver into the gap and twist side to side. Be careful, as I've slipped and scratched lenses before. Putting them back on was easier, since you can use some needle nose pliers to slowly compress them shut. Be aware that they like to break.

It’s coming with both the original clips and new stainless steel ones affixed. I appreciate all the advice, thanks!
