Hey guys. Been away for the last 2 days on a class trip to Rochester NY to see the Bausch and Lomb contact lens research and manufacturing facility. Typical wine and dine trip where they try to convince us that their products are the best for our patients, blah blah blah. I'm not complaining though, free meals, accommodation and more importantly, booze. Good times. Anyways...

Just got back today, and stopped at my local OPD here in Waterloo. To my surprise, Gascan in the doublewide! Rootbeer/Bronze must have been. Tried em on, don't work for me. Too big, too boxy. Close to MonsterDog size, but don't work for me. I had a pair of Polished/Polarized Dogs, and they were money. They were big, yet well balanced. I found the Gascans too boxy, so they seem to stick out to the side too much, where the Dogs wrapped. I also think they're too plain. From the front, they look like every other rectangular fashion frame. The new icon is deadly though.

Sorry about the negativity, I hope you guys have better luck with them than I did.

Sounds like a definite try before you buy. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still hoping for the best.

They look like one of those pairs that I'll buy even if they don't look good on me!!

Good to know. I bet they'll be too wide for me. Oh well...

Now I liked them when I tried them a few weeks back. A slimmer frame than the MDog and not as big as you imagine them to be when you see them on others. I'm def down for a pair.
