haha
no its not halloween yet....
i'm involved in the running of an orientation camp for freshmen in my university, and this is one of the events that we organise on a yearly basis.

we call it themepark, but its really finding spooky abandoned old buildings and acting out stories written out by some of us, and basically having a good itme sacring the crap out of the freshmen.

we used a abandoned estate last year, and this year, we used an abandoned WW2 era hospital.
it was bloody spooky there man .. haha
but it was fun at the same time =)

Larrikin Pte Ltd.
11 Stanley Street
Singapore 068730
+65-6323-0080

Hours
Monday - Friday 9:30 - 1, 2 - 6

you need to take MRT to Tanjong Pagar MRT station , about 10 minutes walk from there , you should walk towards there , through a underpass , and then when you come out you should see a church , and then a building which has individual stalls which sells food , when you are reaching there , you also should see a 7-11 store , walk straight up.

(don't be surprised if the place looks old and runned-down)

They have 7-11's in Singapore? That's cool! What's with the split hours of operation?

larrikin is the distributor for oakley here in Singapore but they don't do direct retail i.e. off the shelves.
its just a service center / showroom for them.

also its manned by a couple of pretty asian gals, hehe, and they have a lunch break in between from 1-2pm

cheers!

Nap time is after work. Good way to stretch your break for 2 hours. It's practically time to go home afterwards.

Do you mean to tell me that your wife hasn't prepared a whole list of things for you to do after work? If not, you're lucky

thanks Chris and Wilfred, i missed the topic and didn't get to read your kind assistance somehow.. :D

i used to live in singapore in 93-94, and i can't seem to recall which side of singapore tanjong pagar is placed.., wait.., if i remember correctly, it's after novena station is it? anyways, it's not important, it's easy to navigate in singapore since the transportation system's really good. :D

by the way, i have another question if you guys don't mind..

is it possible to do xmetal juliet tuneup from the Larrikin(s'pore O distributor)? namely if i need the nosebridge retightened? it's out of warranty and the receipt is lost somewhere.., and Bali Bijaksana(indonesian's O distributor) don't have any policy on tuneup services.

hi paul, bad news....

quoted from our local guru.
Tune up? Cannot.
It's the rivet that has loosen up. And rivets can't be tighten. He/she will need to send it back to Oakley and have them change a new frame, which will come with a price.

How much? Will have to check with Oakley. Recently they have some changes on the warranty issues and it SUCKS BIG TIME!

I hear liao sianz 1/2.. Sure alot of customers kpkb, buay song with Oakley.. Haiz.. The way they do business.. Really CMI..
end quote.

he's quite close to the larrikin people here... so sorry but it appears they are unable to help you in this area..... unless you wanna change your entire frame i guess.....

the last part is just our local slang for: i was pissed off when i heard about it, alot of customers will complain / bitch about it , and basically be damned upset with the local oakley distributor. and the CMI part just means they can't make it.. yeah ....

hope this was of some help to you .
