what is it about Oakley that you love so much...if you had to pick one thing? for me it is that they put soo much thought, care, and effort into their image. and as they say, image IS everything. the big motto when i worked for Oakley was..."athletes wear our product not because we pay them to do so, but because it pays to do so."

They think outside the box. Oakley does not do things conventionally. They keep the customers in mind, as well as the athletes they support. The technology is out of this world, and is truly Science Wrapped in Art.

Because... cheap sunglasses are only good in a song. Optical quality counts. Thats why I love mine.

Personally quality is a big reason. You don't want anything but the best when your eyesight is at stake and with Oakleys you get what you pay for unlike some flimsy ‘designer’ shades that cost as much if not more but just aren’t built tough. Image is also a big factor and it's cool that (most) Oakleys are so distinctive you can always spot em a mile off. Like you said Darren there's something about wearing $$$ on your face!

I have loved Oakley's since the early 90's. It is because of their unconventional and unique products. It's only in the past year that I have become much more into them (this site certainly hasnt hurt my obsession, oops I mean love for Oakley). Since finding this site my wife tells me I anm even more obsessed. Oh well , She just doesnt understand.

I like their watches. Most people dont even know they make them. Ive seen many watches over 5 grand that dont even look good compared to the oakley analogs. All the analogs are swiss or japanese movement wtih sapphire crystal as oakley only uses the best

They are so different and to put that uniqueness on your head is really cool. I personally love the X-metals.

Paul, I was able to get a nice Titanium wedding band, not Oakley, but still nice and durable.
