Does anyone know if oakley will do a frame swap as they do with a lens swap with juliets? I'm attempting to go from a carbon frame to an x-metal frame for my juliets, and one of their customer services guys mentioned they do something like that, but didnt't give me the details.

In the UK they exchanged an out of warranty 1st gen plasma frame for a polished frame for £54. And I didn't get the old frame back.

No, there is no way they will do a frame replacement like the lens. In order to get a different frame you must pay retail price for it which is around $175 with tax in ca.

no damage... i had xmetal w/ ruby that were stolen. i thought i would try carbon this time, and once i got the ruby lenses in, i didn't like it as much. the frame is about 2 months old and hasn't gotten much wear (spent 2 weeks at oakley) and its been raining in seattle as well

I've had a couple of Juliet frames swapped here in Japan due to various manufacturer defects. (ie. faulty flex-coupler, grinding hinges, etc.) But, each time they were exchanged for the exact same frame color. Never thought to ask for a different color, but then why would you want to go and defile a perfectly good stock configuration :(
