I have a pair of Black/Black Chrome Splice and the Oakley logo is not printed on the nosebridge, which I prefer.

I'm looking at some pictures of the Gunmetal/Black Emerald Splice on eBay and that DOES have the logo printed on teh nosebridge.

What other combos of the Splice have/dont have the logo? Any idea why some have it and some dont?

(My plan is to swap the Black Chrome with the Gunmental bit on my Splice so I can have Gunmetal/black iridium and then sell the black chrome/emerald because I dislike black chrome)

I have also one splice with Oakley logo. The other one is with. I think Oakley made the first edition without, the second one is with logos. The saw the same shit on the Monsterdog Ducati....first without logo....second with. Oakley Politics :-(((

That's right it's a generational thing, I think most of the Splice I see in store now have the stretch logo printed in white on the front.

At first I was a bit confused at some of the ones on Ebay, as you all should know when Splice was first released, there were many fake Splices going round with the logo printed on the front and this was the easy way to tell they were fake, as with the plastic Juliets.

The Emerald Splice I recently tried was a clear frame. No logo. Now here's a question, since you say it's generational on the Splice, is it still the thin stretch logo on the newer ones or have any glasses started to show with the new, heavier, stretch logo yet? I have been wondering if O will make the switch. My most recent Monster Dog was still the thin one.

You say the Emerald Splice you tried on were clear? Because the ones on ebay with the logo on the nosebride are Black or Jet Black frames.

Huh. Generational eh? I prefer the Splice without the logo. Makes them look sleeker and more classier.

Sorry. Clear, meaning no logo on the bridge, not a clear frame. That's how I have seen it refered to when the logo is absent form the nose bridge.

Oh silly me. I have had a bit to drink tonight so ignore my ramblings.

Do people here prefer their Oakleys to have the logo on the nosebridge or have them clear?

I much prefer no logo, especially when it's a black frame.

It depends on the model, some look good without the logo and some look good with.
most O matter ones look good with the logo but X-metals would not.

X-Metals would definitley not look good with it. It doesn't really bother me being there. One pair of my Monster Dogs doesn't have it the others do. I do think that Oakley is established enough to not have it at all, and just have the Icons on the stems if they chose to do so. But certain frames do look better without it. I like that my Fives 2.0 don't have it and I hate how it looks on the Fives that do have it.

I hate the logo on the nosebridge - I paid money for the frames - not for Oakley to plaster its name on MY nose ------
