I'd like to beef up the variation listings with some pictures, but I need help from those who have pairs of the glasses in the generations. If you could take a look below and snap a few pictures from a few angles of anything that matches one of the descriptions, I would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Fire: Newer pairs have been reported to look more yellowish than red. Old Fire is similar to new Ruby.

NOTE: Both lenses are Fire Polarized

And new info to boot. Thanks.

Actually can you PM them to me, since the forum resizes images smaller than the other upload areas.

thanks guys! if you don't mind me asking, can a get a bit of credit on top of the variations page along with the other greats?

next up, the Timebomb clasps if i have time tonight... then maybe the Square Wire Generations, but i'll have to hunt down an image of the one with the long Hammerwing Unobtanium version, all the others i have.

hey EC, i realized we could use use some of this information to start the Wire article we were talking about...

Yeah Bong, I've been working on it; I'll have something to send along in a day or two. Those pics make everything clear.

Hang on, I bet I have a Hammer-sock Square Wire pic...a-ha, take your pick (pic?)

awesome EC! i'll start doing the Square Wire variations tonight. do you have hi-res versions of those are is that the best available?

oh, i guess i should add a correction to the A Wire variation entry, currently it says:
Variation: On the 2.0 the frame came in a 'thick' option with a larger orbital.
while in fact all the A Wire and A Wire 2.0 along with all Thick variants have the same orbitals, all the lenses are interchangeable. only the A Wire 2.0 Spring Hinge has a different orbital shape. the Thicks just have a thicker frame.

The better pic I have is of the Light / Black Iridium but that's only about 25% larger. I'll see what I can scare up.

yeah, that should be fine, a bigger size is always good... not too concerned with the colours.

i've been going through my old catalogs looking for old Wire images we can use for our article... heh.

I beieve there are two variations of O Pack 3.0.

The first one had plastic Icon zipper pulls, and the D Ring positioned on the front.

The second one had nylon(?) zipper pulls, the D Ring positioned on the top of the flap as well as easier-to-open clasps w/ nylon(?) pull releases.

Can probably put two pictures together from the Interweb, but I'm in the midst of exams right now...

Thanks for the notice, I'll try to see what I can find.

Also the Soft vaults went from metal to plastic zippers. We should try to find pictures of those.
