Haven't seen one in person yet (*sigh*), but I've been told it's close to double the size of an Omega Seamaster Pro, so yeah, it's pretty big.
As for trading it for a Tag...I would if it were a basic Tag quartz. If you've got something like a Monaco or one of their Benz LEs, save it and spring for the TT by cash.
This watch is big and heavy compared to most watches, so its not for people with tiny wrists. I have a big wrist and I even had to take a link out so it wouldn't slide all over.
Well, I don't know. but if it's an old Tag I'd keep it even if it were butt ugly. One, the older Tags used in-house movements and two, You can resell a good vintage Tag to easily cover the cost of the Time Tank.
Yeah, Ed is right. The quartz watches are kind of a sellout item.
Actually, that was Yukio posting...believe it or not...
But we did find an Icon Small that she's nuts about. We hope to get it in the next month or two...and we're getting a real sweet deal, too.
Thanks for all the info and pics guys! I guess I was just getting a little bored with my Tag. This watch may be a tad too large for my wrist...oh well.
Oh it's not the links that's the problem...the problem is the entire body/face is too big for my wrist! Even the Time Bomb...where the body meets the links...taking out all the links wouldn't help! =P
I have a Tag too, but it just doesn't have the impact of a Time Tank. It doesn't have the impact of a Timebomb, Judge, Blade, or a GMT now that I come to think about it. But, it is a fine timepiece and I appreciate it for other things besides sheer impact. In the end, they all tell the time, but how many of us really buy watches like the TT because we need to know the time? Know what I'm sayin'?
