Not to get off topic too much, but I'm curious. If they are cutting it from existing blanks they already have, do they even have spherical Violet blanks? Riddle is toric. Unless it's the same base as Fire, and they just add whatever Iridium.

Dunno, we're gonna find out early in the week. According to Gary, Violet's a possiblity where as G26 wasnt so I'm assuming he has a general idea of whats available according to the person at HQ they contacted. We'll keep everyone updated.

Iridium goes after the cutting, so I imagine as long as the base is made it shouldn't be a problem.

I know we're just shouting out ideas but I really like the Matte Black and Violet. As a second choice, Matte Black with 24K would be kick ass as well!

Now we`re talking! Matte Black rulez! My first choice would be: Matte Black/24k with gold icon, second Matte Black/Violet with violet icon. Any of theese combination would kick a$$.

I especially like the fact that the matte does not scratch up as easily as does the polished black although the polished looks more formal to me...However, I am sure most of us nut cases will "put these on display" within our prized collections :D

Although I certainly have my favorites - I think the ideas and trends here are headed in the right direction. I'll love anything that is unique and stands out - but I'll still continue to just cross my fingers and hope for the best until we hear the official word and make payment for a sweet VUTT exclusive.

I like Matte Black too because if you want pop there's nothing like putting a strong color, highly reflective lens next to a no color, no shine frame! It would really showcase the Icons too

Yep, we are finalizing things tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully we'll have an answer as to what we can do. There isnt much debate as to what people want so we might have three or four options and just let the poll go for a few days. No need to drag this on longer than it has to.

Though boring and tired, at least Crystal Black/Violet is retro. If these are the options I go with this one then.

My votes still lie with Bottle Green, Matte White or Black as frame options though.

Yeah I'm not down with a fully-green frame. Black frame would be my choice if the lens is 24k, Violet, or Emerald (-Slate). Anyway it'll all come out in the votes.

Hey Phil - I've never seen a matte white frame, do you have a pic? And I thought matte white and bottle green aren't available?

BTW - I thought the algae frames are much darker than the olive frames, they look more like bottle green (I have a bottle green EP and a algae/gold ir. Fives and they both are very dark. Of course, even olive looks black at night 8) ?

My choice would be Matte Black, but Dann should start a poll at the site`s "Polls" section.

Metallic Black is the same Metallic Black they've made for years. If anything, it's got less metal flake now than it used to. Think Polished Black with some sparkle in it.

I don't really like the Olive/Emerald idea. I can't stand the non-matching hues. If they could make them the same color for the frame and lens (like the Spy fade frames), that'd be different. But it would end up like the Electric Mustard/Fire combo: tonal, but not the same color.
