I think he means you have to order 75 pairs or more to do a logo etching.

Lets all of us have something done. We got more than 75 of us that would be willing to get involved with this I think. I'm in for sure. Wait how many arms and legs do i need to give up for one?

I would like something done too but with what happened with the whole VUTT thing, I think you have a better chance of getting your logo etched if you ordered 75 pairs for yourself.

Even if we went the Five 3.0 route for price, and with a grey lens, I'd still have to raise $7875. We'd have to get lurkers to join in too. I'd only do it if prepaid, since I really can't foot a bill like that on faith. Then if I didn't get enough, I'd have to go through and refund all the money and people would end up loosing paypal fees right and left. Ah, if I were a rich man.

Color combination?
Etching (logo / text)?
Costs?

Like it was said Dann chooses....you buy if you want it. No choice take it or leave it.

NO NEED to start talking AGAIN about color, style, combos or Price.

But also the logistics would be a nightmare, and unless someone can front the near $8000, the chances are slim.
Or if 75+ members were prepared to commit 100% with no escape, with money down and wait till the 75+ members commited before placing the order. Somebody in the states may want to do it.

How do the cost range?

Like say if we stick with a lesser end model with an Iridium lense, to say a non-Iridium lense? And would frame colors differ the price, and by how?

The only un-official "O-Review" model floating about around here are those Metallic Crystal Black/Black Iridum Gascans.

I didn't have anything in mind, I was just stating the pricing factor. Iridium tacks on $10, the OCE itself is an additional $10 over retail and the engraving is $20. So with Iridium, that's $115 for just a Five 3.0. I just don't see it happening.

Hey, here in Holland we have to pay a 100 euroos just for a pair of normal, of the shelf, Fives 3.0 with Iridium lenses. That's 130 USD...
And then you don't get the etching or ability to customize...

For me it would be very cheap! I'd prob. play even with transport costs

True, but it still would require 75 people (or less if people get two or three). $115 x 75 woudl be $8625. $5 shipping makes it an even $9000

A slight revision on the pricing. If we were to get, for instance, a Brown Smoke Five 3.0 with Bronze lenses they are $85 on the OCE site plus $20 for the etching brings it to $105 per pair. I also think that it would be worth while to possibly negotiate a lower price for engraving since it would be 75 of the same thing instead of having to change it for each pair. Plus, let's face it, we're the O-Review & Dann Is the man!
