I bought a bottle of that for my best bud for his b-day. I have yet to try it myself though....is it good?

And almost a month later, we finally make it in. I may not be drunk right now, but I certainly am reminiscent of our drunken time. I'm still amazed at the fact that Crystal Head was so easily found in that shell of a town. We actually found a shelf full of it at the first store we checked! Amazing! How're those skulls looking, Nik?

What's just as amazing - if not more so - was Nik's find of a Retina Burn Jawbone over there! No O Stores to be found, and only crap OPDs like Solstice and Sunglass Hut. But in some sports store in what pretty much equates to their only real mall in the whole state, Nik finds gold in a sea of mundane. As expected, all we'd find were browns and blacks and greys. A few tiny splashes of color, but mostly drab. Nik walks out with the most unique pair of Oakleys to be sold in Iowa.

Nik, Dawn and I had an awesome time up there with you and your wife, and cannot wait to do it again.
As long as the big yellow truck comes along again, too. ^_~

Thanks mate - we so enjoyed it and will do it any time. Hanging out with you guys is such a blast - we had a great time.

Kelli and I joked that we must really need a vacation if we can have fun in Iowa... But, If you are with good people - you can have fun anywhere. We were and we did. You guys rock.

What I found funny is that we had the "sales" guys trying On Oakleys and asking our opinion. Once we established ourselves as true "O people" they wanted our opinions on what they should buy. Priceless!

I still have dreams about that steak. And the crystal heads look right at home next to the RX Bobs in the Man Cave.

Good times man - good times. Found Retna Burns, Crystal Head vodka and great stogies. All that combined with really fun and cool people makes IA a fun place.

Got a really neat self made card from Alex - thanking me for the R/C boat - so very nice. I have instantly become "uncle Nik" - very cool.

Can't wait to do it again next year!

Glad the card made it there. I was supposed to get that off some time ago, but with only one car between us and odd schedules, I hadn't had much opportunity.

It's now 4:30pm and I'm almost done with work. Can't wait to go home and get myself fuuuuuuuuuucked up!

Fall is coming - the pool is closing. The man cave is next on the agenda after the garage. Been really easy to keep up here 'cause there's not much posted lately. I hope it picks up soon.

It's been one hell of a year for us collectors. I can only imagine it's gonna get better. The economy sucks ass but hang in there - this too, shall pass and us die hards will never fade.
