Howdy folks!

Have a quick question. Does anyone know if there is a difference between non X-metal serials that start with V or A. Is A different from V? I know that W is for warranty, but I've never figured out the V or A. Thanks for the help!

:)

Sorry, but it looks like this is a tough one. Someone will come up with an answer, though.

I never thought I'd ask such a question. It probably doesn't mean anything, but who knows, maybe it's a large piece to the O Puzzle :)

Well A is for second generation of the frame B for third, check out the various serial threads with the seach button.

As for the V, I dont remember, but as soon as people come back from the Holiday, they will be able to help you out I am sure.

I thought that only applied to X-Metals? Perhaps V is for the first (virst) generation? Yes, that was a horrible joke, but I'm also serious haha :)

Non X-metal serials? As in on the box? If so, I've wondered that myself at one point. I just figured it was their internal code for their first release, but no one's been able to give a definitive answer yet.

He's talking about the prefix letter on the box. I thought it was either a production release or a distribution identifier. So far I've seen A, B, E, P, X, V, W.
