I normally wear Black or Titanium polarized and never had any problems. but for me i think it has to do with the size of the lens too, also the color, and how close it sits to your eyes.

I have found the Nanowire 3.0's when i put them on, in any color. I get an instant headache. i adjusted the nose to see if maybe it was just too close to my eyes. But that didnt seem to help. Something about the nanowire 3.0 hurts my eyes. Ive tried wearing them around for a while to see if it would go away but my headache and dizzyness got worse. Good thing i didnt buy them.

I also recently had this problem with the Titanium lens in my Hijinx.

Interesting thread...I have several eye/vestibular/balance issues....havent specifically been given headache by Polar ..maybe its the meds but I find the Bronze polar sometimes clearer to me than Black Iridium..I do know -being color blind- Oak's Contrast enhanced lenses help me to see traffic lights in the daytime much more vividly..never heard that before but in places where the red light would blend in w/ trees in background the light is very much brighter and I run less red lights...with just contacts and before age of oakley 6 years ago it was always a problem

Spoke too soon Black Polarized and Grey are really screwing with my vision I have very strong RX contacts...am red/green color blind also ...when I look at cars on road sometimes the green and blue are almost flashing...not so with non polarized...got a lot of lens replacing to do on pairs I havent even really worn yet...

Today was the 2nd time I could actually use my RX'ed Gold Iridium Polarized lenses. The first time I got some headache after a while, but today it was much better. The wet pavement looked still a bit blurry, but I still have hope that I can use Polarized lenses. I probably need some time to get use to them.

No reactions myself, and I'm been acquiring more and more polarized frames lately. The Pit Boss has the best, non-obtrusive polarized lens because it has the AR coating on the inside. I think my Propaganda Hijinx has the least effective polarized lens, but it still works when I test it by looking at water or a sunglazed dashboard.

In the end, I think Oakley polarized lenses are Oakley polarized lenses. Most of the time, the polarized film doesn't come off, but sometimes it does...

As posted ealier I cant do them at all One employee at a local O store has same problem Its not uncommon 3D movies screw me up too....Glad in a way Saves me abt 60 bux per pair...My wife though needs polarized and they work with her RX great..I have contacts and red/green color blindness if it has anything to do with it....There are MANY people who get migraines from polarization What a relief when I figured that out...

It could just be adjusting to the base curve as well. If you have not had an RX O before with that much rap it takes you brain a little bit to get used to being able to focus all the way through your complete eye rom.

Infusion molding actually makes that impossible....you mean non-oakley lenses right?

Seems you are right about this. I think I mentioned it before, that this is both first tinted RX and Polarized lens with 8.75 basecurve. All my previous sunglasses had plain lenses, but I decided to take the RX. I didn't regret it, just need some time.
