Guys, it's a great idea, but somehow after adding my address, it's not stored. Maybe it is a Firefox issue?

Sure it is, I have the same problem at home. But your location has been added. We can see you on the map

Okay, it's really a Firefox issue. On IE it's fine. To mark the O-dealers is also a "must". When will be this feature available?

Well, considering Dann's talent, probably the next 30 secondes after he read your question ^_^

I see. There is no rush, just a question. It would be also nice, if we could add some photos of the store too. Might help to create a picture what the shop really is.

I need to add another link in the popup that allows the marker to be added as a general spot rather than a personal location.

It works, an OPD as been added in France.

cool, I used the google function grab the data rather than some generic method. I guess they take care of the browser compatibility issues.

I will work on improving the OPD screen so it doesn't just say 'OPD'

Okay done. For some reason is wants to ask me to allow popups every time though, so I may have to find a better way.

I wanted to add my OPD, but I messed up and I can't delete and/or modify the marks on the map.
The correct address is: Budapest, VI. Andrássy út 7.
The store is called "The Lab"
Can you guys help me out on this?

I tried at home if Google maps API worked better with Internet Explorer 7, and yes it does.

So for those who still have some issues with Firefox to display the markers on the Maps, I'm sorry to say that you have to try with IE 7.

I hope that Google will do something about that.

Actually, nobody could do this for you except Dann I think, or you'd be listed as a store and I'm pretty sure you don't want to ^_^

What's your web browser ?
Do you see the markers of other members ?

Type in an address, or just a city, which would be better. Press the button (don't hit Enter) and it should zoom into the map on that location. A box will pop up and show two links. One is to set this as your location, and another is to set it as an OPD/O Store location. If you click the first link, it will update your profile information and then refresh the map. If you click the second, a popup box will appear asking you for the name of the OPD/O Store. You may have to enable popups since some browsers block them. Once you type the name, it will refresh and the marker will be there.

Just a general comment,

I think that this is not a good idea to put only a town name because if more than one member do that, the last one who mark his place will hide the previous. I think this is what happens with the OPD the Lab, I can see that there is a marker behind.

At least, you can put an adress in your neighbourhood

Come on all,
Put yourself on the map. This is cool to see where you live, which member is near you...
