You guys realize that next year is their 35th Anniversary don't you? Could be interesting.

Be nice if the new Timebomb was mechanical, not quartz. Crystal face would be fantastic too.

More organic frames, and I like the idea of a new Zero or OTT line.

i wish they would have just kept the Pennys around, i don't know whey they stopped production on them.
Hallelujah! I mean, I love the Juliet, but not quite as much as the Penny. To me, the Penny is just so much more agressive...meaner...sleeker. It's by far my favorite frame and I wish it was still around.

A lot of what's being discussed here resembles the back-and-forth in the "Restoring your faith in Oakley" thread. I think this all basically comes down to two facts: a lot of us long for the "old ways" of Oakley, but need to realize that they're not necessarily gone. They're just being supported by the new direction with all the mainstream pairs.

Penny's would make a great comeback. perhaps a larger lens'd version of the penny and call it the The Dime or The Quarter.

I agree. I think the tiny orbitals of the Penny held it back (but then again I suppose that's why they named it the "Penny"). Were there a Penny XL, I think it would sell very well.

Oh yes, I agree!!

I don't understand why they dropped the Crosshair from the(Online) BTO-programm but start to sell Iridium Crosshair ?

And I love the design of the Racing/Water Jacket! This aggressive design "inspired" so much other brands - when it comes to sportsunglasses with a strap almost every model from every brand (ok, that's a bit immoderate) looks like the Water Jacket!!

Penny was the pinnacle of X Metal design if you ask me.

Now they just need to make an Asian Fit version. :(

Didn't they make "Asian fit" nosebombs for the X Metals?

They had the small and large nosebombs, but the larger was still way too small.

I think there were some aftermarkets being sold in a small shop somewhere in Japan, but I don't think they had those anymore.

I wish they had more Asian Fit anything, really.

Getting away from the products, I wouldn't mind seeing another redesign of Bob. There have been many iterations, but after being reminded of the Rudy Project display head, I wouldn't mind seeing Bob with an updated look.
