Incredible. These, like the VR28's, enhance contrast and work wonders. I had doubts about the bronze base, but it's awesome. Even though it says its neutral, I really think it increases contrast a lot more than other neutral based lenses. These are a definite keeper in my collection.

These are really really nice lenses. Oakley says they are 9% and not 10% as it says here. On bright days they are great. Tremendous contrast and everything looks super sharp. Polarizing cuts most glare, especially off the car's dash. Highly recommend. If lots of shadows appear, it's best to switch to a higher transmission lens like the VR28 blue. I switch between the two.

Fantastic lens. At first I thought it was going to be too dark, but after wearing my Flak Jackets with these lenses in for a while, the way they cut down the glare in really bright sunshine, and yet manage to be wearable even when the light levels drop is fantastic. The contrast they brings out is spectacular too, as well as looking a lot more discrete than some of the other Iridium lenses.

Fab lenses - I love 'em. They're warm and punchy.

Just shy of a 5/5 cos the contrast can be a bit too strong for driving in some conditions. And colours aren't true.

Good lens. Makes green look a little greener. cuts the glare well. adds some spice to your perception. not as good as blublockers. been trying for years to find glasses that really change contrast but Oakley is so so.
The perfect lens tint -
If a higher rating were possible this tint would get it. Contrast OTA (out the a$$) perfect in sunny to cloudy to rainy applications. This should be Oakley's go to tint, IMHO.

A lens option catered more towards functionality than looks, from the outside they look more Dark bronze than "gold". They are basically Polarized Brown lenses w/ a gold tint. They make everything look very sharp. Not a head turner by any means (not much difference between them and my black polarized from a distance) but certainly Superior to any other of my Polarized lenses in terms of clarity and glare reduction. they are officially my new winter driving lenses.

Got these lens in pair of straight jackets and to be honest the my first pair of Oakleys. I'm very impressed work well in all conditions, with a subtle look. My only critism, while driving cars with heated windscreens apprear to have oil on them and LCD displays have a funny look. Otherwise delighted with them apart from the price.

This lens is simply amazing. I have worn a variety of gold polarized lenses from a variety of sunglasses and these are by far the best I have ever owned. When I put my flak jackets with these lenses on, everything is so bright and clear, yet incredibly soothing to the eyes, and I have yet to see any glare when driving whatsoever. Let alone any glare at all. These lenses really make green colors look absolutely amazing, as well as every other color you may happen to look at when outside, but the way they brighten up green objects simply amazes me. I highly recommend these.

Fantastic lens. Compared to my Emerald Iridium polarized A-wires these lenses walk all over them. Not necessarily the most incredible lens to see from the outside (although they look pretty sharp in my red Flak Jackets) but very nice to look through indeed. everything sharpens up very nicely, and they are fantasic on the water. I also keep a pair of VR28 Iridiums as well to swap out when I mountain bike though, these lenses are a little dark to be using in deep forested trails.
TERRORISM -
Perhaps it was more of a manufacturing variance than anything, but I've seen these lenses (Gold Polarized) with both a "mirrored" finish (in my Flak Jackets) and a "semi-mirrored" finish (in my C Wires). While the lens itself performs admirably and reduces blinding glare as you'd expect, it seems that the iridium coating for the C Wires is just barely enough to obscure the wearer's eyes from the outside world. As long as the iridium coating is appied properly (to create a mirrored finish from the outside), this lens maintains a noteworthy presence in the Oakley lineup.

Great lens for driving and daily wear. Really brightens everything up and kills the glare without being too dark.

You cannot go wrong with this lens.
Makes everything bright and super sharp, but still soothing on the eye, and the polarization cuts down on glare if you are near water.

This lens and the Titanium Polarized lenses are my personal favorites. These bronze based lenses give great coloration especially to greens such as grass and trees. Definitely a great lens. I never thought that I would like gold lenses but boy was I wrong.

Not as sharp as I'd hoped, but still great. I think the increased contrast of this one made it a little more murky than my Ice Polarized lenses. My Dad has this in his A-Wires that he uses when he's driving or going to work.
