Frame: Dark Carbide
Lens: Black Iridium

I bought these plainly because they were on special at the time and i wanted another colour to the Ice switch i have. I thought being a new glass i wouldn't have problems with the paintwork like my Ti frame, but I was wrong. The ceramic coating seems extremely thin at the edges, paint below the hinge has no been coated fully, to the extent that i have to take extreme care when cleaning the glass so that the edges stayed in good nik.

I spotted at least four areas now where paint is starting to fall away, and with a dark frame it's extremely noticable! My FMJ minutes have lasted longer and I've had them for years. Haven't taken these to Oakley because i bought these underprice so the store didn't give me a warranty. Only bought these because of the price and suited me ok style wise.

In my opinion a very classy pair I love my mag fours

I like these more than I thought I would when I ordered them. The colors are great and the design is simple. For such a simple design these get a lot of attention, maybe it's the colors. Either way they look pretty good on me, and fit my head well. The spring hinges feel nice (after I snugged up the screws a bit) and make for a comfortable fit on my med/largish size melon. Despite the frames bulk they are very light, and sturdy feeling.

The verdict for me on these is, a good addition to the collection, but I won't wear them often. Nice to look at on display though.

I was able to get these NOS off of the net last week at a great price. So i will try to review as if i had paid full retail for them.

The Frames are very light weight and have a great feel to them. They seem to have a great flex on the hinges and would accommodate anyone with a slightly larger head. The FOUR series frames are very simple and seem to have little offerings to set them apart from other glasses of similar styles other than the brandishing of the "O" on the side are. Which in my opinion is more than enough to compensate for the slight blind spot they create.
The Fire Iridium Lenses are amazing... beautiful color and supreme clarity.
Bottom Line... I won't be wearing them very often just because they do not fit my face very well but a great light weight frame for anyone who can pull it off.

really simple look and nothing radical about it but it is an Oakley magnesium so it does make a statement

I like the design, but they started to peel and should have been re designed with different material

I dont like the grip on the face. seems like it might fall off. and most definitely will look good on the ladies. I do get away with it sometimes but hard to look for clothes to go with it

Designed for smaller heads, they're kinda plain looking other than the color scheme. Not quite as funcional as other Oakleys since the base curve is so flat. Its only - and not very compelling - selling point is that it's made out of magnesium, but that was probably just an experimental phase that they were going through.

Frame: Dark Carbide

I bought this for my wife but tested them myself for a couple of times. Very light and stiff and the spring hinge have a good grip on the temple. The lense however left an area in the sides uncovered. Aesthetically, this is a very good pair of glasses, classy in a way.

This is a pair of glasses to add to a collection and to throw on a shelf. Not for everyone to wear, but It's worth it just to stare at the glasse and the great all around design of this pair even down to the little metal orbital lugs (or whatever you would call them: the round metal cylandrical things that hold the lens orbital together with the oakley logo inside the frm.

I bought these despite knowing about the design flaw that all the magnesium frames have. I really like the overall feel of the glasses, very strong, yet light. The spring hinges are a plus as well. Aesthetically, the Mag Four is a very classy pair of Oakleys, yet better suited for females in my opinion. From a performance stand point, I would not recommend these due to every thing that make these so aesthetically pleasing. I have not had a problem with the paint peeling yet, but then again I have only had them for less than a week

Frame: Denim
Lens: Black Iridium

I bought these off of ebay and got a great price!
I love them. The denim color is cool and the spring hinges are great. They feel very light.
I am going to be very careful with them since I know that the paint can peel off.

My bro looks good on it but has severely corroded on him because he wears it everyday

Frame: Dark Carbide
Lens: Black Iridium

I found a pair of these for a great price on eBay, so I had to get them since they are now discontinued. They are almost a little too wide for my face, but they were such a good deal that I couldn't pass them up. Also, unlike my Mag Four S, these have MAGNESIUM etched on the left lens. The Four S fits much better, but there's just something cool about having that etching on the lens.

As with all Mag frames, these are super light and very stiff. The spring hinges feel great. Dark Carbide is a nice, plain, matte finish for those times when you want to stay low-key.

This frame colour is way way better than Dark carbide.
it is a rich metalic blue which looks amazing in dull or bright conditions.
I just hope my coating doesnt peel off.

Same comments as the Mag Four S but these have a slightly bigger less rounded lense.

pretty hard to tell the difference unless you have both of them at once to compare.
