I was looking at my collection today, and there is one pair that I own that always catches my eye. This was the first pair that I bought where I already had a pair in this model, and this was a different color. This is the pair that I associate with the start of my love of collecting, as it was my first duplicate, and the sole reason I purchased it was due to how striking it is. Behold, the FMJ Red New Straight Jacket:

I have other pairs which I think are awesome, like a Pit Boss, or cool, like an Antifreeze Frogskin, but no other glasses seem to compare. The Red NSJ is sleek, sculpted, an amazing color, and they fit well. If I had to submit just one pair of Oakleys into an art gallery, it would be these. I'm curious to see the tastes of others...

I would have to say the pit boss: matte black/ bi.

Sharp lines an edges. A good backstory to the design and by far the most expensive pair I currently own.

It also helps that the plates are polished and reflect the lights in the case.

No pic but I gotta say BMX Chrome Jawbone... So pretty. Such pretty colors and lenses... Great options. All so shiny.

Did I mention I'm easily distracted by shiny things?

Dunno if I have had a frame that garners more attention since Mars or OTT...

I have a polished Juliet that Josh cut a chrome lens out of a straight jacket for. When the light hits them right they are blinding! For me that is the pair that i look at and admire.

I too like shiny things Nik. The shinier the better!

I really think this pair is beautiful!!!

I also really believe the Troy Lee Designs GASCAN and the 10th Mountain Division GASCAN are beautiful as well.

When I saw the title of this thread my Electric Mustard Eye Jacket came to mind. I remember marvelling at it in the Neiman Marcus cabinet back in the summer of '97. It's just so....so.....electric!

In terms of color combo, I'd cast my vote for the BMX Chrome array as well, when the entire set is seen together. Basic color lenses and UnOb options coupled with a shiny chrome that goes with any color, real tough to beat. No where near the price range of the C-Six, but perhaps beauty-value for the money? I saw a pair of C-Six displayed at the local O-Store last evening. It's a more classy, more subdued kind of beauty, not color-flashy.

My opinion is, that the Zero 0.3 is the most beautiful and unique pair in Oakley's variety of glasses. Nothing is like the 0.3... It embodies all the properties which standing for Oakley in my mind. And Rodman was the one and only person in this time when it was released to present this one. What a gorgeous stroke.

We all have some very differing concepts of the word beauty.

@Rick, my EMEJ is in my top few prettiest. I was stoked to get that one relatively free of charge...

I think the 7.62 FMJ still holds a pretty high beauty mark. Whether on the EJ, SJ or Trenchcoat - 7.62 is just awesome. When they transitioned over the the 'mm' versions, it just didn't seem the same any more.

I don't think I've ever seen 7.62 in person. I've dug all the FMJ Jackets, though.

Honorable mention for me has to be the Chrome MD's and the Ruby Mars. That Ruby Mars is just something to behold.

R1 is such a tragedy... Talk about a desperate need for a re-release with technical improvement. R1 hands down.
