This was brought up on the Facebook Group, so I figured I'd pose the question here. In regards to Juliet Colorway releases, what order were they. The first list to be posted was:

X-Metal Black J xxxxxx 1
Titanium Gold T xxxxxx 2
X-Metal Gold JG xxxxxx 3
Plasma Fire P xxxxxx 4
Plasma Ice JI xxxxxx 5
Plasma Emerald JE xxxxxx 6
X-Metal Ruby X xxxxxx 7
Polished Blue JB xxxxxx 8
Polished G-30 JG xxxxxx 9
Polished Fire Pol. JP xxxxxx 10
Plasma Ice Pol. IPxxxxxx 11
TI02 VR28 JT xxxxxx 12
Polished Fire JF xxxxxx 13
Carbon Black CJ xxxxxx 14
Brown VR28 JBR xxxxxx 15
Carbon Black Pol. CBP xxxxxx 16
Polished Blue IS xxxxx 17
Plasma Clear JPPLxxxx 18
Polished Clear JPPOxxxx 19
Polished Slate I 51xxxxxx 20
X-Metal Black DUCATI xxxx 21
Carbon vr50 FINITOxxxx 22
Carbon Black DUCATI xxxxxx 23
Carbon Blue IS 51 xxxxx 24
Carbon 24K JC xxxxxx 25
Polished Emerald slate IS 51 xxxxx 26
X-Metal Slate ICHIRO 06 xxxx 27
Carbon Polished Slate IS 08 xxxx 28
24K Gold Titanium Pol. xxx/750 29

This was based around SKU order for the most part, and the second Gen plasma was deduced to be around 2000 since the Ice Polarized didn't have the 'A' suffix on the serial, despite being a later Plasma frame.

I initially didn't see anything that jumped out, but figured a quick browse though the Wayback Archive might help, since you could see snapshots of oakley.com through the years. This was a bit hit or miss, since the sites often aren't complete, or the navigation wasn't conducive to a webbot crawler.

My findings after all was said an done were:

- By Feb 2000, there were 4 colorways: X-Metal, Ti/Gold, and the Fire/Ice Plasma. X-Metal/Gold was already gone, so the initial colorways were correct.

- By June 2000, the X-Men Ruby was out bringing the current colorway count up to 5 (6 total)

- 2001 doesn't have any useful working pages until later in the year, at which point I found the product page stayed relatively static until August 2004 (which matches what I remember as the 2004 era site moved to the search engine style, which got annoying)

- October 2001:
Plasma/Emerald Iridium
Polished/Blue Iridium
Polished G30
Polished/Fire Polarized

- Major gap in the site, but early 2004 had:
Plasma/Ice Polarized
TiO2/VR28 Black
Polished/Fire Iridium
Carbon/Black
Ducati X-Metal/Black
Finito Carbon/VR50

- Carbon Ducati shows up in mid-2005, but that was earlier. I would place the Finito and original Ducati after Carbon/Black, but before Brown. Looking up some old forum posts from the one I had prior to O-Review, shows that Finito and Original Ichiro appeared in August 2003. The Ducati was in stores when I was in Hawaii in May 2003, and the Brown came out in December 2004.

A nice list. I could've sworn I saw the TiO2 in stores before I saw the Ruby Juliet and the SGH Emerald Juliet after the Ruby Juliet (and I really did follow the Ruby Juliet from start to finish). Oh well, my memory's going wonky nowadays anyway, especially when it comes to Oakley.

I agree with you on the TiO2 Oak. I thought it came before the Ruby as well.

Love all this info by the way. Very cool. Thanks.

Wish I had the hot lists from that era, but I think my oldest ones are from 2006-2006 or so.

I feel like the brown should be near the end too, since it was dead last in the serial era. The only other ones were Ichiro's, which brought back the serial for those few releases.
