No permission needed, just not to much that you're going to access without an employee tour guide. You will be able to see the Lobby store, walk in warranty, the Tank, the torpedo, the Front door. Not much access...but definitely a sight to behold. I guarantee you will take a picture of the front door ;-)

Yesterday i sent a mail, asking for the visit, but anybody answer yet.
And are open every days? Or are closed Saturday and Sundays? And the opening times?

Thank you very much!

Don't forget to take the free museum tour! there is a walkway that connects both sides of the lobby store from behind.

I just wrote them too, and this is what I got for a response

"Thanks for the email. We appreciate your interest in visiting Oakley when you are in town. Hopefully I can clear up the apparent contradictions you have dug up. Official tours of our headquarters are currently unavailable. We have offered them in the past and may offer them again in the future, but for now they are unavailable (we are experiencing a widespread turnover of the department that typically handles the tours so they are shutting the program down for the foreseeable future).

While official tours aren't available, you are more than welcome to come check out the building. You will have access to the front of the building (where our company tank is usually on display along with our WWII torpedo) and the lobby which includes our lobby store. While it's not the same as a tour of inner workings of the headquarters, its still a cool experience and a site to see.

You can find directions to us at http://www.oakley.com/customer-care/directions

Brandon

Must be back to not doing them. Last summer the group I was with couldn't have been less interested in the tour, so I'm assuming it was a general tour.

There was a time the museum was jam packed with all sorts of vintage goodness, but sadly, it's just the cubes now.

This reminded me to add the 2005 Museum back on the site, in all it's Netscape 3 era Image Map code glory.
