Different generations. Some have them, some dont.

Serials ended December 2004, aside from the few special ones like the 24K Gold and Ichiros (and that brief thing they did where the first 1000 of everything ended up with a serial)

got some X -XX with a serial no on bridge piece and the torx screws are on the top
box says 04- 120 but any pictures I have seen the show the screws on bottom of frame
anyone help?

Some red flags in that description. The XX doesn't have a SN on the bridge. Screws shouldn't be at the top of the frame/orbitals).

Do you have a pic? Perhaps it's a Romeo and just got the wrong box?

after the confusion over what I had (my fault for not checking) had my romeo from new so was supplied with wrong box I need a replacement lens for the non etched one so could a jawbone/racing jacket lens be cut to use
bit lost with curve ture size
or a pair of line gear
any help would be greatly appreciated
