As often as I use flickr, it seems like it's a dead system. However they appear to be interested in keeping it going. Just noticed this today, and I have to say it's soooo much better than the old organizational system. The archive/date view used to take ages to load, and now it's really responsive.

Anyone else had a chance to check it out.

I hope it's not a dead system. I initially chose Flickr because it seemed to have a lot of photographer's support and I thought it would be a long standing service. I agree with you though, seeing new features like this give me hope it's not been marooned just yet.

The cameraroll looks nice. It should make everything in the Organizer a lot easier... with the exception of one thing. And it's the thing I've had to spend the most time on over the years - changing the date uploaded. If only I could click and drag images around in this cameraroll feature to change their order in my Photostream, I would call it a grand slam.

The camera roll is a nice feature, indeed.
I don't know if I'll really use it, but the layout and functionnalities are good.

It's beta, so hopefully they will keep adding features. There are still some missing from the old Organizer, and some additional filtering will be needed. But as it stand, I think it will certainly replace the page where I search by date, as I use that a lot.

yeah quite like the Camera Roll too but I don't really use it that much to be honest. I hope they keep putting the work in though to improve Flickr as I don't want to see it die either.
