I have seen these on here for some time... My only guess is a reseller going out of business and Overstock buying all their stuff up. It makes me wonder what resellers pay for a timebomb. I can't believe it's this much of a markup though.
yep looks like overstock lowered it's price they used to be 600-700 dollars... It's a sweet deal if i didn't already have a timebomb i would pick one up.
Usually on ebay timebombs can be bought in the 350-700 dollar range depending on what type if a lot of people see it.
i've been staring at a Timebomb at Overstock.com for a long time now. like Phil H mentioned they were 600 to 700 dollars, and i've been watching the prices drop every month. i really need to save up some money but if the White Timebomb drops one more time i will have to order one.

Simple law of supply and demand. Too many time bombs + not enough people wanting them = cheap time bombs. I think the fascination with the time bomb has worn off since the release of GMT's, Judge's, etc. Nothing against the time bomb, it still kicks ass, but I doubt many people are willing to pay retail for one. Better to get a few hundered bucks than to let it grow old and obselete before your eyes.

Try calling Oakley Customer Support. If they can't do it, I wouldn't see how without buying a newer timebomb and switching it out, which would be redundent.
you would probably have to change the whole band as you can see the older style has flat links and the newer style as curved links. In my opinion it's not worth changing... i like the idea of a hidden clasp but I also like the curved links more so they are both nice.

I ordered the gray faced one thanks in part to the advice and input i got from all of you. funny how the price went up on the carbon fiber and grey versions Chris said he got his for $600.00 so could this mean overstock will increase the price back to $600.00? let me know when your comes in Bong.

You guy's are gonna love'em! I've had mine for several years now and I still have people ask me about it. I have the gunmetal/carbon fiber version - very, very cool!
I have been tempted by these for ages but I remember someone (I think it was Darren) mentioning that there is an additional fee for those of us unlucky enough to live in the UK. I have some friends in the States and I was thinking of buying one, having it shipped to their house and having them ship it to me. Does anyone know how to dodge her majesty's customs and excise though. The only way I could think was by stating the value of the contents as zero but then if they lose it I dont get my cash.
Ideas anyone???

If the value of the item declared is £18 or below NO customs charges.
Mark the item as a gift and the allowance is a £36 . As long as the item is sent with "signed for receipt" there shouldn't be a problem. As you cannot insure an item for $400 when the declared contents are $30
All of that is fine as long as HM Customs don't open the box to check the contents.
