Watching this on the bay but has been ended. It is the regular frame (not the most desirable) stringer but with the lens etched with M3 logo. Never heard any collab between Oakley and BMW. Ano thoughts?

Pics of the etching. Looks fuzzy but but maybe because of the angle or something..

It's less of a collab than series made on demand by whoever wants some.
I've seen some Jupiter Squared BMW M Series too.

Exactly. That could even be BMW for a specific event.

I think the first time I've seen those BMW etched lenses was during one of the MFest events from a decade back. I forget which models they were on, and I can't seem to find the blog post, but that's where I remember first seeing them. Obviously they've continued through the years, but I don't know if they are connected to MFest.

There are tons of corporate or event commissions for logos on Oakley products. Most of the ones we see publicly are backpack, it seems, but there are tons on eyewear that we know about. Microbags, watches, goggles, etc.

One of the interesting ones I've seen lately is an etched lens with the Audemars Piguet (AP) logo. AP of course is one of the most highly respected watch brands, so it was interesting to see it on an Oakley product. Not sure if the logo was done by Oakley itself or a third party, but watch collectors will get a kick out of it:
