It all started when I ended up going straight from work to the pub last night, I was still wearing my juliets from when the sun had been out earlier.
Well, after knocking back a few beers and having people enquiring about my glasses and then me trying to explain x metal, I decided it would just be easier to demonstrate the awesome power of the O...
Obviously I did what seemed like a smart thing at the time and offered £10 to anyone who could bend or break the earstem of my juliet between their thumbs and forefingers (use of feet, knees, table etc strictly prohibited!)
5 people had a go and I'm happy to report this morning that all 5 failed to have even the slightest affect on my juliets, so I still have my £10 and my juliets are still just like they left the factory!

In sober hindsight it might not have been the smartest thing to do but it certainly proved my point...

I always wondered if it would be easy to bend the stem and never wanted to try myself.

I've stood on a pair before without causing any noticeable bending.

I'm over 150 lbs too.

You must have tried this yourself before letting other people try it. X-Metal never ceases to amaze me

WOW THAT IS AMAZING!!!!

u got me sold Adam, i'm gonna buy another pair of juliet!!

j/k

wait, maybe not.., haven't got the xmetal combo yet..

......must..resist..the..temptation..

ugh!!

ps: i hope oakley make new colorways with the juliets. how bout an xmetal fire/ice/emerald combo? or titanium iridium(haven't saw this in juliets)

ps2: i agree with everyone, you're the man Adam! u got the guts to do that kinda thing!! must've been more convincing to those bunch than an O-Rep's way of demonstration(someone mentioned before they drop the glasses from the 2nd floor inside a store??)
