There called grid girls,who hold up the placards with the drivers numbers on them at the start of every Formula One race.
Each race has different sponsers to do this,Like Melbourne has Fosters for example.

it was a marlboro sposered event , and those are the Grid-girls, you know , the have the name of the rider in front of each car before the start,
