i think that you can't have 24 K , only 18 K
and if it is gold, you can tell by the trademark for gold somewhere in it

ummm yes you can have 24k gold, i'm holding a bunch of 24k gold as i type this right now.... If the watch isn't heavy then it's probably plated... it's very cool though

24k gold would dent and scratch incredibly easily

Um, Phil. Why are you holding a bunch of 24K gold while typing?

I think they both have black faces and the one that looks white, is simply that. It looks white due to the light, flash and angle.

Well, from my understanding Matt, those were never up for sale so they never had any price associated with them.

So they are worth, wathever one is willing to pay for it.

Just my 02 cent.

Same deal with any item Oakley makes but doesn't sell. How much is a tower worth. I say a few hundred, but most people want 1000+. All based on market. But I'd say take whatever a regular blade goes for and add a hundred or so.

She is definitely desirable, that's for sure. The fact someone offered up 2-large doesn't surprise me.

you could easily turn any Blade with a metal band into "Gold Blade." There's a place in the mall where I work that will plate stuff. Maybe a platinum Blade?

My collegue's dad is a reputable jeweler and makes a lot of custom jobs...says he could gold-plate my Time Tank no problem...think I should go for it ? Of course I'd buy another one for classic's sake...

Tyler,

First, you don't have to agree with me or support the idea. But to call the idea "dumb"...easy there. I asked the question so I'd get some feedback, that is, constructive feedback, from the members...so that I could make an educated decision.

And Rick beat me to it, but yeah...I know I'm French, but seriously, no idea what you're saying in that last post.
