Alright Phil, I'm putting money aside for the Tank/Tread right now. Can I stay. You guys may have convinced me. Now if the %$#^& thing would come out so we can all get one.
Other than being HUGE, any more details on the King? What it look like, etc? Also, Phil that would be way cool if you could draw up a sketch of the Tank/Tread.
No word on King frm what I know, or anyreal rumblings about it recently. I kinda missed it out west staring at this one. Even my rep or someone had said it may not happen now.
"And on that day, when the dominant ones took their
repose, did a new King arrive; one that laid claim to
a throne with muscular framework, a fiery color, and
a look that was not of this earth" "King of the Beast"
Hotguy, we're talking about Tread/Tank (an upcoming relase) and the King. The King has yet to be seen by 99.9% of us. You can guess who the .01% is who saw it already, FP. But it was rumored to retail for, what, $3000. And no one knows what metals it's made form or they won't tell us. They wouldn't even tell my rep when he saw it. He also said it was so amazing it was undescribable.
woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the
beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the
beast for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty six
i used to be a HUGE Iron Maiden fan, and would remember that part by heart. this time i had to google it a bit, LOL.
not sure where Nik's quote is coming from, but sounds very appropriate.
hey bong , i had that album on a cassette , not even for a pick-up at the time...
it was great , but there were more tracks that were great.
Uriah heap comes to mind
yeah, Number of the Beast is their classic album. "Children of the Damned" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name" are equally good songs off the album. never got into Uriah Heap though.
oh yeah? i'm gonna have to see if they have that "Hallowed Be Thy Name" cover on iTunes tonight.
Todd, i think i remember that Margaret Thatcher one... not sure where i seen it though. but yeah, most Eddie covers are cool, except for the cover on The X Factor, where Eddie looks like he's dying a horrible, painful death. appropriate too cos it's the first album after Bruce Dickinson left the band.
Last night I did. I 'sang' In League with Satan by Venom at the Karaoke Halloween partyand dressed up like a member of an early '80's Black Metal band. Pics to come tonight...or this weekend.
