Just got the email!
Crazy thing is I drove past Supreme LA today thinking, a Frogskin X Supreme collabo would be insane.
A little background on Supreme: a little skate boutique that started out in NYC, that has grown to have a cultish, worldwide following with shops located in Japan, NYC, and LA. Along with every new season and its products, people line up hours, sometimes days to buy their new goods.

Wow, that's neat. Nike has been doing Supreme collaborations for awhile. Its nice to see Oakley taking that route.

Jumpman, I have a few of their nike dunk and delta force collabos.
ifynanceu, your best bet is probably SupremeLA. They don't really sell their stuff online, and will probably releasing in store.
I'll try to pass by this week and get specifics.

Is this for real?!?!? Are these a done deal already? Because they look kinda photoshopped. I think it would be a pretty big deal around here if Oakley dusted off the Frogskin molds again!!

Yes they are real, and yes you have to goto Supreme to get them (no online orders). They're available in April.

Supreme dunks are real cool. I doubt these will draw the lines of people that Dunks do.

Crazy. Now I wouldn't wonder if the old zeros get a comeback...

But for real - I thought that the frogs get a rerelease for a long time, because the famous snowboarder Trevor Andrew always wears them and they always looked like fresh out the box ,)

And I thought the stretchline is dead....

Believe it or not, the Frogskin/Wayfairer style is really "in" right now along with aviators of course. Prices for Frogskins on ebay have skyrocketed lately.

The Montefrio & Hijinx are along the same lines so they should do well this season too.

I think you forgot the Twitch... and maybe the FatCat. But for us europeans - I agree with Fred.... (but the Montefrio stands out, it is a really nice piece i.m.o.)

I suppose it would be too much to hope that they'll be the same price as the originals. Those are some great colorways

What is the first lens? Is that Violet Iridium or G26? &, do you think Oakley stayed true to it's roots & went with the original Orange Iridium formula for that bottom pair pictured?

I think it will be Fire Iridium, seeing that they used Fire Iridium in the New Razor Blades aswell.

In 1975, Jim Jannard started Oakley in his garage lab with $300 and the idea of making products that work better and look better than anything else out there. His first success came in the form of a new motorcycle hand grip with a unique tread and rider-friendly shape. Top pros took notice of the product's "Unobtainium" material that actually increased grip as the rider sweats. Next up for the motocross market was Jannard's wildly successful O Frame goggle, with its lens curved into a perfect arched cylinder to give riders a clear and wide peripheral view. Many versions of eyewear followed and today, world-class cyclists such as Greg LeMond, Lance Armstrong, and Scott Tinley demand the performance and protection offered by Oakley products. The Oakley Frogskins were first released in 1986 and quickly became a symbol of that decade's surf and skate ure. Worn by legend Tom Carrol, Frogskins epitomized the surf lifestyle. This spring, Supreme will introduce four new colorways and one custom Supreme pattern of the classic Frogskins sunglasses. For the first time in Oakley's history, the brand revitalized and put to use the original Frogskins mold for this very special project.

Available this April in Supreme stores worldwide.

One of those little surprises we were talking about, sometime around a month ago, and I guess it finally made it to the news.

Super psyched about one of the colorways that's supposed to be a glow in the dark frame.

Ok, so the molds are original and it's 100% on the up-and-up with Oakley, but will the glass be O-Matter and Plutonite? I would assume so, but am curious, since a third party is involved.

From what we've been told, it will be released to more than just that shop, ie O-Stores. I'm gathering that they're simply getting an exclusive colorway. Not sure if this will be reminiscint of the Razorblade re-release or not, but it's about on par with the idea of issuing throwbacks.

Hmmm, if they end up making it to o-stores, I may just have to take a looksie when they come in. Considering I don't have a pair of frogskins to my name.
