You know...I kind of almost want those! We may just have to add them to our collection.
Hope we get pricing info soon.

I assume these particular colorways will be supreme only.
Since the model's being retro'd, it wouldn't surprise me to see a more general release of other colorways.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! $160 for Frogskins! Ouch, guess I have to choose my colorway then instead of getting all of them.

A tad steep, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had the hydrophobic lenses to justify the price somewhat. Welcome to the new pricing structure if that's the case.

Nah probably not, all of the underground limited release stuff is crazy expensive (i.e. custom Nike Dunks, hoodies, new era hats, vinyl figures). Just goes with the turf...

No new pricing structure. Its more based on the pricing of Supreme's goods.

Looks like we'll be passing on that.

'Tis a shame. Oh well, it's good that they're re-releasing the Frogs anyhow, despite the price. As others have suggested, perhaps this is an inch closer to re-releasing zeros/sub zeros.

Hmm, the print one for sure, but no hope for getting them all like planned. Oh well. Cheaper to buy an older one to wear at this point.

For now, I wonder what that pricing will do to the vintage pairs? At least the price isnt publicly listed.

Yeah, I must say, a non-polarized O-Matter shouldn't run any higher than 100 bucks, and even *that's* pushing it, IMO.

Pass, unless I can get one for a good price.

Seems like they seriously dropped the ball on this.
I don't really see anyone buying these for the style - very very little of the sunglass wearing consumer wants something retro. These really are only going to appeal to the collectors or those nostalgic for the old days, and that's a small lot to begin with.
At this price point, only the most hardcore of collectors are really going to go for this.

Lets be honest the original frogskins weren't that great, let in tons o light from the sides, and the iridium scratched like a mofo.

$160 you have to be kidding!

Are we going to see $200 Mumbo's next?

I said it to you before K and I'll say it again, who said sunglasses had to be functional?

People will pass, and then someone will get one and infect the rest of us with the desire to have one. Then someone will get all of them and so on, and so on......

For what it's worth, I *love* the style (big fan of Wayfarers, Aviators, and other retro styles) and couldn't care less about the lack of functionality, but the price is ridiculous and unwarranted.

$160 is a ridiculous price for the average consumer and even collectors, no doubt (except for possibly the "one custom Supreme pattern" that's supposedly available). But if it's true that Supreme fans wait hours in line for a chance to buy new products each season, then $160 for that niche market doesn't sound all that bad. I'm also sure that Oakley'll get some big name skaters to wear it and create some demand.

It's also possible that, if there will be indeed be regular versions available to O Stores (becoming somethingn like BLOC), prices will drop considerably. One of the reasons for the high price, as already noted, is the Supreme name and the limited edition-ness. Drop those two characteristics and price should drop as well.

I agree with Bill when he said:

all of the underground limited release stuff is crazy expensive (i.e. custom N*** Dunks, hoodies, new era hats, vinyl figures)
These aren't another regular eyewear item in Oakley's lineup, they're directed at a particular consumer and a particular niche. I am sure they will appeal just fine to that niche, and I think the Supreme branding carries as much weight, if not more, than the Oakley mark, to them.

My two cents.

Agreed, Oakley's simply tryng to regain their street cred. The Flores and now these are a great start in my eyes.
