X-metals aren't getting enough love recently. With that, list your Top 10 (or top 3, top 5, or how many you want) favorite Juliets. They can be customs, factory customs, standard colourways, or any combination of the three.
To make it more interesting, tell us why they're on your list.
1) Ruby Juliet - I love the combo of the X-metal colour and ruby red lenses. It also has that infamous connection to the X-men, which is why it has always stood out for me.
2 and 3) Ice Ducati and Ruby Corvette - These are interchangeable between spots 2 and 3. I can't decide. I prefer Ruby over Ice, but I prefer Ducati over Corvette.
4 and 5) Brown Juliet or Black Chrome Juliet - Like above, I just can't decide. I usually prefer chrome over something matte (especially something not seen on an X-metal like Black Chrome), but the Brown Juliet is cooler overall because it's more unique.
6) Carbon Ichiro - What a cool colourway. While I usually wouldn't think OO Blue would work with Carbon, it did in this case. Plus it has Ichiro's sig on it. I normally don't follow baseball, but I'm interested in hearing about Ichiro and his hitting accomplishments.
7) Carbon Ducati - Looks rather plain normally, but the red accents make it stand out. The connection to Ducati puts it high in my book.
8) Emerald Slate Ichiro - Like the two before it, it's just a cool looking colourway.
9) G26 Juliet - I've seen pics of the custom G26s, and they look amazing. Nothing really to say other than it is one cool custom, despite it being not too functional.
10) TiO2 - Probably one of the more underrated frames. While I think it fits better with fire, ice, emerald or ruby lenses rather than it's stock lens of VR28 BI, it's such a good looking frame that it'll make any lens look good.
TiO2/Vr28 BI
X-metal/Black Iridium
Carbon/VR50
Brown/VR 28 BI
The brown i will never own i fear, the Carbon/VR50 is a holy grail for me. The TiO2 i Allready own... along with the Ruby, which I am not to crazy about - a part from the x-man connection.
Would an x-sn Ruby be a fair trade for the Finito or is the Finito worth more theese days i wonder?
Carbon/Ruby, red U
Polished/Emerald Slate Ichiro
Any Juliets that have hammers instead of stems (I have a big head and hammers are much more comfortable)
Personally, I would have to judge them based on the stock colors. Customization has made just about any color combo possible but they are not,in my opinion, "true" color combos for the juliets.
1. Carbon / Black iridium Polarized: I love simplicity. This, simply, looks great. The polarization puts this at the top of my list.
2. Polished / Emerald Slate (Ichiro): Love the way this pair looks. Ichiro LE makes this even better
3. X-Metal / Ruby Iridium: If i said anything more about this pair, it would be a cliche.
4. Brown / VR28 Black iridium: Very similar to the Carbon frame but slightly different. Rarity adds to the aura of this pair.
5. Carbon / Blue iridium (Ichiro): Very sharp combo. In my experience, people either love it or hate it. I love it. Being and Ichiro LE and also being very rare makes this choice an easy one for me.
6. Carbon / 24k Iridium: I love 24k lenses and I love carbon frames (if you couldn't tell already).
7, 8, 9, The other 3 Ichiro's. Interchageable.
10. X-metal / Black Iridium The first and a classic.
1. Carbon/OO Blue Ichiros (due to the rarity and beauty of this piece, as well as the exclusiveness of the OO Blue lens in the Juliet)
2. Polished/Emerald Slate Ichiros (another beautiful combination with a rare lens type)
3. Polished/Slate Ichiros (a difficult-to-find piece to complete the set, this is one of the few Juliets boasting blue unobtainium which, in my opinion, adds to their overall appeal)
4. Brown/VR28 Black (very rare and elusive - a true collector's gem)
