Came across this vid...at about 2:40 they head to the "engine room" at headquarters. Anyone know anything about this? Looks pretty sweet to say the least.

I believe it's HQ's secret pub.

Brian Lopes says, "It’s true though, the ’Engine Room’ does exist. I could take you to Oakley and let you roam around there for a day and you’d never find the spot. It’s a really cool spot. You could compare it to an Irish pub. The guys there brew their own beer and stuff. There are only two keys to that room so you need to know one of the guys really really ell to be able to gain access to it."

I had heard something similar from another Oakley staff member. Said the same thing - hidden away very well.

I first heard of the Engine Room from the western regional manager of an unnamed firearm manufacturer who has been there. He says that Colin is quite the gun-guy. (The average person would be called "gun-nut")

Very cool, indeed. However, I sure don't recall the Engine Room being part of the co-pilot tour! LOL Something tells me it was just too small to cycle all of us through - must have just been a select few to gaze upon and drink a brew.

Sounds like the engine room is a perfect stop for the next co-pilot event, eh? Haha

I think we just killed any chance of future co-pilot events. I'm sure they would like nothing more than 50 guys begging and pleading to visit the 'engine room' during the tour.

I wonder if the beer is any good, though??? Knowing Dann will be of no use to me on that one!

i do remember being told to ask about a "secret room" by one of they guys that work there. of course we didn't get to go see this hidden room. i would have never guessed it was a pub!

I can't rem if my gullet became home to X-Metal Ale or one of the other O themed brews. Hmm....
